Jiang Zemin's education thought is a new production succeeded to the education ideas of Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, and it is integrated the facts of China in present educational reforming and developing period. It subtly delineates the essence and developing law of our education project and penetratingly expounds a series of significant theory and practical problems on our educational reformation and development. It is an important part of Jiang Zemin's thought on socialist modernization construction and it is also the embodiment of "Three Represents" on education. Accordingly, it has grate theoretic value and practical meaning to make a systematic study on it.This essay is made up of four parts:Part one, formation of the Thought. Backgrounds of the formation are that technology advances rapidly, knowledge economy develops newly and international competition becomes hotter and hotter. The main theoretic sources are educational ideas of Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory. The mot direct practical foundation is the practice of China's educational reformation and development. The formation and development can be divided into three phases.Part two, content of the Thought. The theoretic system and the content of Jiang Zemin's thought are discussed from four aspects. (â… )from Philosophy point of view which includes theories on the education value, aim and system; (â…¡) from Education developing thought which includes theories on the strategy of science and education and the education innovation; (â…¢)from Educational management thought which includes to run education by law and to reform the education system; (â…£) from Educational procedure thought which includes theories on quality education and university development.Part three, academic character of the Thought. It is embodied of "five unities": succession and innovation, theoretical and practical, science and integrality, update and advance date, nationality and internationality.Part four, aged value of the Thought. It has grate theoretical and practical value which embodied of the following three points: it is the new stage of Marxism educational thought, it points out the direction of education reformation and development in China, it promotes the formation of national creating system.
