Patriotism is an eternal theme.The new era has given new requirements for patriotic education,and the spirit of patriotism runs through the whole process of school education.As a discipline that is instrumental and humanistic,Chinese subjects should pay more attention to the patriotic education of students.The research is based on Piaget's epistemology of occurrence,Kohlberg's theory of moral development and situational teaching.According to the research basis of previous scholars and relevant policies on patriotic education,the analysis dimension of the content of patriotic education in textbooks is formulated.The dimensions include 5 first-level categories and 12 sub-categories of national territory education,patriotic role model education,traditional culture education,national unity education,and national identity education.After analysis,the research draws the following conclusions: first,the patriotism education in the textbooks is rich in content,focusing on each system;second,the selection of classics takes into account the times,and pays attention to the improvement of students' Chinese literacy;third,the content of patriotism education The setting is in line with the laws of students' physical and mental development;fourth,it is conducive to comprehensively cultivating students' national identity.Based on the analysis of teaching materials,a classroom observation table and interview outline were formulated,and a five-month field investigation was conducted by selecting C primary schools through purpose sampling.The observation class hours were 210 class hours,and 12 teachers were interviewed.The situation of patriotism education content and how to use teaching materials to carry out patriotism education.The study found that: some teachers lacked the concept of patriotism education and failed to use textbooks to educate students on patriotism;the patriotic education method was single;some teachers' educational methods were used improperly.The reasons for the above problems can be attributed to the lack of teachers' learning of the content of patriotism education,their unfamiliarity with the new textbooks edited by the Ministry,the failure to analyze the textbooks as a whole,the single teaching method of teachers,and the failure to update the teaching methods in time with the classroom.Combined with the analysis of textbooks and the research on classroom teaching practice,the following suggestions are put forward: First,teachers should establish the concept of patriotic education,which should be carried out from three aspects,namely,adhere to the concept of the unity of literature and Taoism,adhere to the concept of innovative teaching,and adhere to the concept of lifelong learning.Secondly,it is necessary to explore the content of patriotism education in the textbooks,pay attention to the connection of various grades,form a holistic teaching concept,grasp the arrangement structure of textbooks,promote the coordination and cooperation of various systems,identify the entry point of textbooks and students' experience,and grasp the education opportunity.Finally,it is necessary to innovate the patriotic education method,by creating a situation to feel the patriotic feelings;repeating the reading to experience the patriotic spirit;questioning and discussing to explore the patriotic feeling;...
