With the continuous development of piezoelectric inkjet printing technology,piezoelectric inkjet printers have demonstrated the advantages of high-precision and high-stability printing,and have a broad development prospects in the fields of rapid prototyping,microelectronics manufacturing,microelectronic packaging,and bioengineering.The drive control system of the piezoelectric inkjet head is the core part of the piezoelectric inkjet printer,which directly affects the printing quality and printing speed of the piezoelectric inkjet printer.At present,the core technology of driving piezoelectric inkjet heads is controlled by foreign nozzle manufacturers,which severely restricts the development of inkjet printers in China.Therefore,the development of the drive control system for piezoelectric inkjet heads can not only strengthen the development of inkjet printing technology in China,but also lay the foundation for the research and development of piezoelectric inkjet printing equipment.This paper designs a drive control system adapted to the SG1024 inkjet head,which can realize the rapid transmission of image data,the timing control of inkjet printing and the digital control of output driving pulse signals,and the realization of driving piezoelectric inkjet heads Ink drop ejection.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First,overall scheme design of drive control system:The inkjet printing control system and the working principle of the piezoelectric inkjet head were studied,and the FPGA-based drive control system was designed;the "FPGA+W5300" image data transmission scheme was designed;the image data buffer scheme using SDRAM was designed And the inkjet head interface scheme based on LVDS technology;the scheme of low-voltage excitation signal generation based on DDS principle and the error-amplified driving power scheme using linear amplifier are designed.Finally,the overall scheme design of the drive control system of the piezoelectric inkjet head SG1024 is completed.Second,the design of the hardware circuit of the drive control system: The functional modules of the main control board mainly include hardware circuit design such as FPGA module,data transmission module,data buffer module,LVDS module and serial communication module.The functional modules of the pulse power board mainly include hardware circuit design such as FPGA module,DAC module,error amplifier module,power amplifier module,power supply module,low-pass filter module,and serial communication module.Third,the design of the software part of the drive control system:Completed the FPGA program design of the main functional modules in the main control board,including the main printing module,Ethernet data transmission module,serial communication module and SDRAM module;completed the FPGA program of the low-voltage excitation signal generation module based on the DDS principle in the pulse power board Design;completed the design of the host computer interface of the drive control system.Finally,simulation test and experimental verification of the drive control system:The hardware circuit of the low-voltage excitation signal generation module and the pulse power board is simulated and analyzed.Completed the construction of the experimental platform,designed the output waveform observation experiment and the ink drop observation experiment,verified that the driving pulse waveform output by the pulse power board satisfies the indicators of driving the SG1024 inkjet head and the tunability of the waveform,and verified that the control system can be adjusted.Successfully drive and control the ink drop ejection of the inkjet head,and control the ink drop ejection of the specific nozzles of the inkjet head to complete the inkjet printing of the required image,which lays the foundation for the design of the industrial3 D inkjet printer and its inkjet printing control system basis.
