The organic combination of talent education and moral education is a fine tradition in China’s education.In the new era,Xi Jinping,General Secretary of the Communist Party of China(CPC),made it clear that "the foundation of educating people lies in the establishment of virtue." Moral Education plays a very important role in personnel training.It is of great practical significance to carry out moral education activities for promoting the development of ideological and political education and improving the comprehensive quality of college students.The content of education is a very important element in the system of moral education for college students,recalling the course of the change and development of the content of moral education for college students since the reform and opening-up,and summing up the stage features and overall features of the content development,in order to enrich the theoretical system of moral education for college students,it is necessary to reveal the successful experiences and practical difficulties in the process of reform,and then give corresponding suggestions for content optimization,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to improve the scientific level of moral education practice.Since the reform and opening-up,the content of moral education of college students has gone through five stages: Recovery and development,initial development,gradual standardization,basic formation and innovative development.At the stage of recovery and development,Communist ideological and moral courses are offered in colleges and universities,focusing on communist moral education and professional moral education,and the development of the contents of moral education for college students is starting to get on the right track,the contents of moral education for college students are mainly embodied in the two courses of "ideological cultivation of college students" and "professional ethics",which pay attention to the education of Chinese Revolutionary Morality and Socialist Morality At the stage of gradual standardization,the course of "ideological and moral cultivation" began to be offered as a required course,and began to attach importance to the education of traditional Chinese virtues and social morality,with the promulgation of a unified "ideological and moral cultivation syllabus" as a sign,at the basic formative stage,the Ministry of Education organizes and recommends the use of national model teaching materials,which are integrated with the related contents of "social morality","professional morality" and "family virtue" In the stage of innovation and development,the courses of "legal basis" and "ideological and moral cultivation" are integrated to form the course of "ideological and moral cultivation and legal basis".As a whole,the successful experience of the reform of educational content is as follows: adhering to the guidance of Socialist ideology;keeping pace with the practice of national moral construction;and adhering to the Basic Law of educational development.But at the same time,the problems in the reform and development of the content of moral education for college students should not be ignored: the theoretical and practical content need to be unified;The hierarchy of the content structure system needs to be strengthened.The optimization of the content of moral education for college students in the new era should be based on the combination of theory and practice,the combination of dynamics and stability,and the combination of integrity and hierarchy,the basic idea is to ensure the integrity of content composition,promote the harmony of content structure and pay attention to the modern development of content.The content of the education is optimized horizontally by the logic logic way of "holding public morality strictly and Private Morality",and vertically by raising the level of the education content from three levels: the moral basic knowledge,the moral emotional content and the moral practice content,we should strive to form a content system of moral education for college students with clear logic,clear levels and complete functions.
