Moral education thought has existed since ancient times.As an outstanding thinker and educator in ancient China,Confucius has a wealth of moral education thought and experience.When we examine Confucius' s moral education thought from the perspective of modern society,we will find that the goals,contents,methods and so on have great compatibility with today's personal moral education.Confucius educates students in four aspects: knowledge,conduct,loyalty,and faith.The "four teachings" ideology not only contains the content of Confucius' personal moral education,but also reflects the goals,methods and requirements of his personal moral education.The thought of "four teachings" reflects that Confucius attaches great importance to self-cultivation and practice.This is consistent with the requirements of the current ideological and moral education of college students,such as "establishing morality and cultivating talents",based on practice,cultivating new socialist talents with both ability and political integrity and all-round development.Through in-depth analysis of the relationship between Confucius "four teachings" thought and current college students' personal moral education,we can draw excellent personal moral education resources from it,which is conducive to enrich the content,methods and evaluation standards of current college students' personal moral education.Based on the introduction of Confucius' s "four teachings" ideology,this paper analyzes the necessity and possibility of integrating Confucius' s "four teachings" ideology into college students' personal moral education,and puts forward some suggestions on the path of integration.This paper is divided into five parts: the first part gives a comprehensive overview of the personal moral education of college students.This part makes a detailed analysis of the historical development of personal moral education and the basic theory of personal moral education of college students,and summarizes the problems and reasons of the current personal moral education of College students by combining theory with practice.The second part systematically discusses Confucius' s "four teachings" ideology.This part summarizes and analyzes the connotation of Confucius' s "four teachings" ideology,the logical relationship between them,and the moral education ideas,contents and methods contained in the thought of "four teachings".The third part specifically analyzes the significance of the integration of Confucius' s "four teachings" ideology into college students' personal moral education.From the perspective of national policies,the integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into the personal moral education of college students is an objective need for cultivating socialist successors with both ability and political integrity,and a series of education policies and documents provide theoretical support for the integration of Confucius' s "four teachings" ideology.From the actual situation,integration is not only the need of the innovation and development of Confucius' s "four teachings" ideology,but also the need of enriching the content,method and evaluation standard of College Students' personal moral education.The fourth part discusses the possibility of Confucius' s "four teachings" ideology into college students' personal moral education,mainly analyzes the similarities between the two in terms of educational objects,objectives,contents and methods,and focuses on the feasibility of integrating the thought of "four teachings" into college students' personal moral education.The fifth part is on the basis of the above,put forward the integration must adhere to the principles of selectivity,creative transformation,innovative development,and from the society,colleges and universities,families and individual college students to explore the specific and effective integration path.
