Research On The Issues Of College Archives Digitization Management

With the promotion of network techniques and the deepening reform and development of education cause in our country,the archives management in colleges is in the period of transition from traditional management to digitization.In recent years,as the popularization of public management concept,make it is possible to carry out government affairs transparent,with the reform in traditional public management and develop of the socialization of public service,the requirement on the use of archives is becoming higher.They should take full advantage of social informatization to improve archives digitization management with the help of new public service theory.Based on the significance,necessity and feasibility of archives digitization management,this paper,relying on the current situation of college archives digitization in A province,takes NG college's archives as an example,through the analysis of typical cases,this paper sums up the problems existing in the implementation process and management of the digitalization construction of university archives.,focusing on the following four aspects.First,the processing system of archives digitization management lacks unified standard.Second,due to weak systematic security protection,the security management of archives digitization is always outdated.Third,the importance and urgency of archives informatization construction are not realized sufficiently by college leaders.Archives department is understaffed,and the professional level of file administrators is patchy,and needs to be improved.Fourth,there are legal problems involved in building archives digitization.According to the above problems,this paper,on the one hand,offers the reference for college archives digitization in a province from these aspects like the scientific design,reasonable process,and good management and so on.On the other hand,facing the problems and the insufficiency in current archives digitization management,based on the related literature and archivists' theories,especially the thinking on the fire accident in National Museum of Brazil,this paper puts forward following advice from six aspects with the help of public management and new public service theory,namely,strengthening the cultivation of talented managers in college archives digitization,strengthening security monitoring in digital management of college archives,reinforcing the platform of college archives digitization and network regulation,establishing and perfecting standards and norms for archives informatization,optimizing the model of college archives digitization management,perfecting the laws and regulations involved in archives digitization management and archives informatization construction.
