At the National Education Conference,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed the need to accelerate the modernization of education,build a strong country in education,and run education that satisfies the people.In order to realize the Party's education policy,the biology curriculum standards for ordinary high schools revised in 2020 pointed out that the core literacy of students should be developed from multiple aspects.In order to promote the content reform of the college entrance examination scientifically,the Examination Center of The Ministry of Education has constructed the college entrance examination evaluation system of "one core,four layers and four wings".Both the core quality of the new curriculum standard and the subject quality of the new college entrance examination include the requirement of scientific thinking.Therefore,all teachers should optimize teaching strategies,update teaching ideas that do not meet the requirements of The Times,and pay attention to the cultivation of thinking while imparting knowledge,so as to achieve the goal of improving students' ability.High school biology knowledge system is particularly large,there are a lot of memorization content,students want to get good grades need to have good learning methods to support.The working principle of mind mapping is highly consistent with the thinking principle of human brain.It has been applied in many industries around the world.Many experts,scholars and teachers often introduce mind mapping into education and teaching,and have achieved pleasing results.Biology is an important science course in high school.The content is full of diagrams and concepts.It is very suitable to use mind maps to assist teaching.It is of great significance for both students and teachers to apply mind mapping to biology classes in senior high schools.I try to adopt the teaching method of mind guided schema to improve students' biological performance,and at the same time,combine the requirements of mind mapping and scientific thinking in the core quality of biology to carry out research,hoping to contribute to students' thinking training in high school biology teaching.The interviewees of this study are three biology teachers from the same lesson preparation group,and the interviewees are 431 students in grade one of grade 2023 in Anshan No.3 Middle School.In the experimental part of this study,compulsory High School Biology course 2(Genetics and Evolution),2019 edition of People's Education Press,is taken as the teaching content,and the teaching design based on the thinking guide map is formulated.A representative teaching case is selected from three types of courses,namely new lecture,review lesson and exercise lesson,respectively to be displayed in the paper.Select the same content of the conventional traditional mode of teaching cases and comparison.In class 2 of Grade 1,mind guided schema teaching method was adopted,while in Class 5 of Grade 1,conventional traditional teaching method was adopted,which lasted for 6 months.Before the experiment,the data of two classes in the first semester of grade one were analyzed by software.After the experiment,the total score and different performance of scientific thinking of the two classes were investigated and analyzed.The results of interviews show that most teachers cannot construct mind maps effectively.According to the results of pre-test questionnaire,most students do not know enough about mind mapping to apply it in learning.The results of the experiment showed that before the different teaching methods were introduced,there was no significant difference in the average scores of the two classes in biology,and the two classes were similar when the questions were classified according to the different manifestations of logical thinking in scientific thinking.After half a year of teaching practice,biology scores of the experimental group are significantly higher,and descriptive statistics show that the whole class of students are generally stronger in scientific thinking ability.The results of the post-test questionnaire also show that the introduction of mind mapping is more consistent with the cognitive law of students than the previous teaching mode.Through the research of teaching process,it is concluded that the application of mind mapping in biology teaching in senior high school can improve students' academic performance and cultivate students' scientific thinking.In the new teaching,mind mapping helps students memorize knowledge points.In recitation lessons,mind mapping helps students build knowledge system;In exercises,mind mapping helps students improve their ability to solve problems.Mind mapping can change the way students learn,stimulate their interest in learning and promote their effective learning.The application of mind mapping will create space for the improvement of teachers' teaching ability,create opportunities for the improvement of students' core literacy,and better serve biology teaching in high school.
