Study On Development Strategy Of JW Company

Mineral resources are important raw materials that support the operation and development of the economy.In the context of the emerging global technology and green low carbon revolution,key mineral resources will play an important role in the new round of industrial competition between countries and regions.Tungsten as a strategic rare metal mineral is widely used in industrial production,national defense and military.As a provincial state-owned company with core business of Tungsten,JW company had strong competition and played a leading role in the field.But in recent years,it has been relatively left behind due to the dual pressure of strategic ambiguity and organizational constraints.Therefore,facing the drastic changes of the external environment,it’s a problem that needs to be solved immediately that how to take advantage of the historic opportunity of upgrading and high-quality development of the non-ferrous metals industry to eliminate historical obstacles and formulate clear/effective/reasonable development strategy.Based on the relevant literature classification and theoretical achievements in strategic management,this article provides a comprehensive analysis of JW’s internal and external environment,summarizing the external opportunities and challenges facing the company’s development,as well as internal competitive advantages.And disadvantages,and then analysis through SWOT matrix,positioning and strategic goals of the company and then focus on choosing the company’s development strategy and implementation paths at different levels based on the company’s horizontal business plan and building the vertical chain of the industry.Finally,six guarantees are provided to accompany the implementation of the strategy.
