| In recent years,international manufacturers continue to carry out research and development of new vulcanizing additives.According to the role and structural characteristics of various additives in sulfur vulcanization system,many new vulcanizing additives have emerged in the aspects of vulcanization efficiency,vulcanization process,performance characteristics,targeted,pollution and so on.A class of single compounds with functions of vulcanization,promotion,activation,anti-coke and anti-return have been widely concerned because of their "one dose of multi-energy" characteristics.Therefore,this topic mainly in the monomer rubber tire compound and the use of rubber tire compound in the study of a new multi-functional curing agent WL207 instead of the original curing agent and curing accelerator.The comprehensive performance of vulcanizates was compared and analyzed,and the influence law of dosage change on performance was explored,which provided the basis for WL207 application in tire rubber.By exploring the variation of WL207 dosage,the optimal dosage of WL207 in different rubber substrates was selected.The mechanical properties,curing properties,dynamic mechanical and thermal mechanical properties and machining properties of vulcanized rubber under different curing systems were studied by comparing WL207 system with common sulfur curing system.WL207 was characterized by means of FT-IR,NMR,TG,DSC,etc.It was found that WL207 is a single chemical substance with activating group,promoting group,sulfide group and anti-coke group.At the vulcanization temperature,its decomposition Active sulfur is released during the process and applied to the crosslinking of rubber.According to the analysis of static mechanical properties and dynamic mechanical properties(DMA,RPA),the optimal dosage of WL207 in NR,ESBR,SSBR,NR/ESBR and NR/SSBR radial tires is 4.5,4.0,3.5,4.0 and 4.0,respectively.In the comparison of different curing systems,when NR was used as rubber matrix,WL207 had slightly worse tensile strength,but better tear strength,wet slip resistance,uniform filler dispersion and good compatibility with rubber.When ESBR is used as rubber matrix,WL207 has excellent physical and mechanical properties and good wet slip resistance compared with common sulfur sulphide system,but the rolling resistance is larger.SEM was used to characterize the strong force between the filler and the rubber matrix with WL207,and the rubber matrix had a strong wrapping property to the filler.When SSBR is used as rubber matrix,WL207 has the advantages of fast curing speed,perfect crosslinking network structure,uniform filler distribution and good mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber compared with common sulfur vulcanization system,but the dynamic mechanical properties are slightly worse.When NR/ESBR is used as rubber matrix,compared with common sulfur curing system,WL207 curing system has the characteristics of non-reversion,strong interforce between filler and rubber,high degree of support,good rubber compatibility and no frost spraying.In the comparison of dynamic mechanical properties,sulfur sulfide system has low rolling resistance,WL207 sulfide system has good wet slip resistance,low temperature mechanical properties;When NR/SSBR is used as rubber matrix,although the physical and mechanical properties of WL207 vulcanization system are not different from those of common sulfur vulcanization system,it has the advantages of fast vulcanization speed,good vulcanization flatness,no return of vulcanization and good compatibility between filler and rubber matrix.After the above research found that in the application of automotive tire products,WL207 vulcanization system can replace the coordination of vulcanization agent and accelerator in the common sulfur vulcanization system.And can make the filler and rubber compatibility better,give rubber products more excellent dynamic mechanical properties,can realize different rubber matrix co-vulcanization in the rubber. |
