Study On The Improvement Path Of Public Participation In Environmental Protection Behavior

With the rapid development of industrial economy,global environmental problems emerged,the waste of natural resources and ecological pollution to the economic and social development and human survival caused by the impact cannot be ignored,ecological environment construction has been widely concerned at home and abroad.2021 National Ecological and Environmental Protection Work Conference proposed to pay attention to ecological environmental protection,to fight the battle of pollution prevention and control,which is the implementation of the new development concept,to promote high-quality development of the right This is the right thing to do.In the rising wave of environmental protection,the importance of public participation has become increasingly prominent.In order to promote public participation in environmental protection in an orderly manner according to the law,the Ministry of Environmental Protection issued the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Protection to guarantee the basic rights of citizens to participate in environmental protection according to the law.Based on the above-mentioned background,this study takes Xi’an city as a case study.Based on the theory of environmental citizenship,the theory of public participation ladder and the theory of network governance,the study uses literature research method and questionnaire survey method,relying on the survey data of public participation in environmental protection in Xi’an city,and makes an empirical study on the factors influencing public participation in environmental protection behavior,and proposes the improvement of public participation in environmental protection behavior based on the research results.Based on the results of the study,we propose ways to improve public participation in environmental protection.In this study,taking Xi’an city as an example,the analytical framework of public participation behavior in environmental protection was firstly established,and the research model was constructed and research hypotheses were proposed through theoretical analysis and behavioral interviews.Secondly,a survey was conducted to analyze the current status of public participation in environmental protection behavior in Xi’an,including the characteristics of environmental protection in Xi’an and the analysis of the survey results through the public and private spheres of public participation behavior and factors influencing the behavior.In the empirical analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to investigate the influencing factors of public participation in environmental protection behavior.The analysis found that environmental knowledge,environmental awareness,and government environmental protection work have a significant influence on public participation in environmental protection behavior,while perception of environmental conditions only has a significant influence on public sector environmental protection behavior.Finally,after analyzing and discussing the influencing factors obtained from the study,we propose targeted paths to improve public participation in environmental protection based on the results of the study: in terms of environmental knowledge,strengthen offline environmental knowledge publicity and education and pay attention to online environmental knowledge publicity and education;in terms of environmental awareness,shape the public’s environmental values and cultivate the public’s willingness to participate in environmental protection;In terms of perception of environmental conditions,enhance public awareness of environmental conditions and improve the feedback channels for public supervision of environmental conditions;In terms of the government’s environmental protection work,improve the level of ecological and environmental information disclosure,sound Public participation in environmental protection behavior of the protection mechanism and incentive mechanism.The above study is dedicated to promoting public participation in environmental protection and building a good pattern of universal participation in ecological and environmental construction.
