| According to the comprehensive data of the my country Disabled Persons Federation and the China Association of the Blind,the number of visually impaired people in China in 2016 was about 17 million.For a large number of visually impaired groups,my country has continuously improved the design of public facilities,barrier-free norms,standard blind lanes,and traffic lights in urban construction.Voice prompts,libraries for the blind,special education training schools,etc.Most of them are public facilities,and there is a lack of product design for the visually impaired,especially the information barrier-free construction that is convenient for the visually impaired to shop and use daily necessities.This article mainly designs a braille writer that is easy to write,modify and carry for the visually impaired,as an information processing tool for the visually impaired in life.The portable braille writer can write braille post-it notes,and the visually impaired can identify the information of related items by attaching the braille post-it notes to daily necessities such as food,medicine.and household utensils,so that the visually impaired can enjoy the same as normal people.The convenience of life brought by science and technology can pursue the realization of self-worth.This research has certain scientific nature and practicability.In the above context,this paper takes the visually impaired as the research object.Conduct research and interviews with the target groups in Changsha Braille Library,massage parlors for the blind and other gathering places for visually impaired people,and analyze the physical and psychological characteristics of visually impaired people,the characteristics of Braille writing tools,and how visually impaired people know more about Braille writing tools.application requirements of the scene,etc.Record in detail the physical and psychological characteristics of the visually impaired in the process of interviewing and researching,as well as the behavior habits,emotional reactions and experience pain points in the process of using Braille writing tools,and then invite typical users to jointly draw the target group’s Empathy maps,refine product design appeals,and formulate design strategies for Braille writing instruments.Based on the above research results,the author designs a braille writing tool that is easy to carry,easy to modify,and has a high usage rate,and provides a practical path for the application of such design research.According to the actual needs of the visually impaired in life,two schemes of a convenient braille writer and an intelligent braille writer are designed,prototypes are made,and the product design results are verified and evaluated.The verification includes Braille dot size evaluation,appearance evaluation and Contact strength evaluation,etc.,form a closed loop of design with scientific and effective practical demonstration.Experience has confirmed that the design of a portable braille writer is feasible to a certain extent,which can quickly generate braille marks on post-it notes to meet the needs of visually impaired people to read information and identify objects in daily life.On the basis of the convenient braille writer,an intelligent braille writer is designed,which can provide voice Bluetooth input and long text input and output mode.This design can greatly improve the writing experience of the visually impaired,and to a certain extent,it can improve the visually impaired.happiness of life.The series of studies on this topic provide effective methods and paths for the design of Braille writing tools. |
