In recent years,due to the impact of the epidemic,the economic situation at home and abroad is grim.The daily glass manufacturing industry is a highly polluting and energy-intensive industry with the characteristics of capital-intensive,technology-intensive and labor-intensive.It is currently facing structural adjustment and strategic transfer from low and medium quality to high quality,and from Europe and Asia to Southeast Asia.China’s daily glass manufacturing enterprises have fierce competition and survive in the cracks.BX Company is a medium-sized daily glass manufacturing company,established in 1986,which mainly produces daily glass products such as storage jars and food containers.Its main partners include IKEA,DAISO and LOCK&LOCK.Currently,the globalization of the epidemic and the overall economic downturn have posed a huge threat to the daily glass industry.Many small daily glass producers closed down and leading daily glass companies took the opportunity to expand their production.As a medium-sized company,BX Company is also facing a huge survival crisis with slow growth and low profitability.This paper first reviews the theory of competitive strategy and the current research situation,and conducts a literature review combining the development trends in environmental governance,lightweight production,and product quality,analyzes the external environment and internal conditions of the company,and in view of the problems of high product homogeneity,relatively weak profits,and high pressure of transformation and development of the enterprise,formulates a competitive strategy suitable for the enterprise,reduces production costs,improves product quality,improves service level,and comprehensively improves the comprehensive competitiveness of the company.Through literature research,interviews,questionnaires,and case studies,the paper uses the PEST model to analyze the macro environment,analyze the overall situation of the industry,use the Five Forces Model to analyze the competitive environment of daily glass enterprises,and conduct research on industry strategic groups.Through EFE matrix analysis,the paper quantitatively evaluates external opportunities and threats,analyzes the company’s current situation,and analyzes enterprise resources and capabilities,The core competitiveness of the enterprise is analyzed through the VRIO model,and the internal strengths and weaknesses of the enterprise are quantitatively evaluated through the IFE matrix.Based on the evaluation and analysis results of key factors,combined with the enterprise’s vision and objectives,competitive strategy feasibility analysis,and QSPM matrix analysis,it is finally determined that the differentiation strategy is most suitable for the development of BX Company.It proposes specific implementation measures and safeguard measures for implementing the differentiation competition strategy of BX Company,mainly including human resources,financial management,scientific and technological research and development,production technology,and production quality,Ensure the implementation of competitive strategies.The innovation of this paper is that many articles lack specific implementation plans for the implementation of competitive strategy when analyzing the competitive strategy of daily glass.Through analysis,this paper concludes that BX Company is the most suitable for differentiated competitive strategy,and makes specific implementation plans for each department for one year and three years to ensure the accurate implementation of differentiation strategy.It makes up for the deficiencies of specific implementation of strategy in other articles.At the same time,scholars have little research on competitive strategy of daily glass industry,and the literature has been published for a long time,so the reference is of little significance.This paper makes up for the deficiency of research on competitive strategy of domestic glass enterprises,provides a reference case for research on competitive strategy of domestic glass enterprises of the same type,provides reference measures for other enterprises with similar development situation of BX company,and puts forward suggestions for long-term development of small and medium-sized domestic glass enterprises.
