The problems of abrasive block and short life are caused by the randomness of abrasive arrangement of ordinary grinding tool.The research on regular(ordered)arrangement wheel has been carried out for many years and remarkable results have been achieved.However,the preparation method of regular arrangement grinding tool with fine grain size(average particle size less than 100μm)is rarely studied.In this paper,the fabrication of the regular arrangement abrasive tool with average particle size of 95μm is found.In this paper,the grinding simulation is carried out by MATLAB software to determine the best parameters of abrasive arrangement.The key step of the preparation process is laser drilling,and the quality of laser drilling will directly affect the quality of abrasive fabrication.Therefore,in this paper,the mathematical model of laser drilling on UV ink is established,and the functional relationship between laser power and hole depth is established,which is verified by experiments.Combined with the quality of drilling,the best power of laser drilling is found.Different from the randomness of the position of the abrasive grains of the common abrasive tools,the abrasive grains of the regular arrangement abrasive tools have relatively fixed positions on the surface of the grinding wheel,so the material removal methods are also quite different.In this paper,the theoretical formula of undeformed chip thickness hm considering the interaction between abrasive grains is established,and then the theoretical formulas of tangential grinding force and normal grinding force are obtained.In order to test the performance of abrasive tools,this paper selects two common Hard-to-Machining materials,carbon fiber composite and titanium alloy materials as the experimental objects to carry out grinding experiments.Carbon fiber composites are known as Hard-to-Machining materials because of the high strength and hardness of carbon fiber reinforced phase,and the low thermal conductivity of matrix resin,which is easy to cause abrasive wear.In the process of high-speed cutting,there are some phase transformation.At the same time,the material is anisotropic,which is prone to delamination,cracks and other defects.Titanium alloy is a typical Hard-toMachining material.In the grinding process,because of its high plasticity and strong chemical activity,the chips will attach to the surface of the grinding tool and the machined surface of the workpiece.In this paper,the differences of material removal form,surface morphology,tool clogging,roughness and grinding force between regular arrangement grinding tools and common grinding tools are compared through grinding experiments.The experimental results show that the regular arrangement of grinding tools has obvious advantages in restraining the blocking of grinding tools and coating of workpiece materials.
