With the rapid advancement of science and technology and the spread and development of the metaverse concept,the virtual reality world has attracted more and more attention from all aspects of society.With the popularization of network technology,the real economy and products are gradually transformed into digital channels.In the textile industry,the display of textile terminal products,especially clothing,such as clothing purchase,user fitting,etc.,need to be realized with the help of virtual reality technology.The accuracy of the virtual display of textile end products depends on the realization of virtual fabric technology,so developers are particularly concerned about the model simulation of virtual fabrics,which are the research objects that best reflect the later form of fabrics.For the simulation of virtual fabrics,the research work of this paper mainly focuses on three aspects: the construction of virtual fabric models and the overhang simulation corresponding to the performance parameters of real fabrics,the display and algorithm optimization of the texture mapping scheme of virtual fabrics,the lighting rendering of virtual fabrics by lighting models and the evaluation of drape experiments with real fabrics.Firstly,this paper establishes a particle spring model to simulate the dynamic display of virtual fabrics.Virtual fabrics have different application states in the dynamic display,one is to fix one end of the virtual fabric,and the other end naturally hangs the collision object,exploring the dynamic effect under the constraints of the fabric itself;The second is to overhang the collision object of the virtual fabric as a whole to explore the dynamic effect of the fabric under unconstrained conditions.By studying the dynamic display of two objects,the dynamic simulation of virtual fabrics is realized.Secondly,the current texture research of virtual fabrics mostly focuses on static image display,or uses the glossy brightness and shade of the pixels of the original picture itself to demonstrate the three-dimensional effect.Considering that most of these methods cannot realize the dynamic display of fabric texture,this paper adopts the method of mapping the particle spring model to simulate the texture rendering effect of the real fabric.Through the display of the texture effect of the virtual fabric texture map and the optimization of the rendering algorithm,the real simulation of the virtual fabric texture mapping is realized.Finally,in order to further improve the realism of the virtual fabric,in the texture rendering of the fabric,it is necessary to introduce a suitable lighting model,and adjust different lighting parameters to show different fabric materials.On the one hand,the physically-based analysis model and the empirical model are used to texture different fabrics,and on the other hand,the two are combined to texture the appropriate fabrics.On the basis of lighting model rendering,this paper adjusts the program parameters of the virtual fabric to correspond to the experimental parameters of the real fabric,and makes a dynamic comparison experiment between the texture of the real fabric and the virtual fabric,and finally realizes a more detailed and realistic dynamic texture simulation effect of the virtual fabric.Through the model development,drape simulation,texture mapping and lighting rendering of the virtual fabric,this paper finally realizes the real dynamic texture display of the fabric in the virtual environment,and sets the program parameters of the virtual fabric according to the mechanical parameters,structural parameters and overhang parameters of the real fabric to realize the evaluation of the dynamic texture of the fabric in the real environment.It provides research ideas and research methods for virtual reality technologies such as clothing display and user fitting,and provides research directions and research methods for virtual fabric drape simulation experiments.
