The Impact Of Environmental Regulation On The Efficiency Of Green Technology Innovation Research

Improving the efficiency of green technology innovation is an important link for China to achieve high-quality economic development.As an important tool to solve the problem of negative environmental externalities,the formulation and implementation of environmental regulation will have an important impact on the efficiency of green technology innovation.Different types of environmental regulation tools have different characteristics and implementation effects.Therefore,this paper divides environmental regulation into command and control type,cost type and investment type,and studies its impact on the efficiency of green technology innovation respectively.First of all,this thesis selected 30 provinces(municipalities,autonomous regions)in China from 2009 to 2021 as research object.The over-efficiency SBM model was used to calculate the innovation efficiency of green technology innovation in various provinces and cities from 2009-2021,and analyzed the results of calculation.Secondly,the construction panel regression model studies the impact of command control type,cost and investment environmental regulations on the efficiency of green technology innovation,and analyzes the regulatory effect between government subsidies and market-oriented levels between environmental regulation and green technology innovation efficiency.Finally,on this basis,there is a test of advanced heterogeneity to study whether there is regional heterogeneity in the correlation of environmental regulation and green technology innovation efficiency.The results show that:(1)the overall efficiency of green technology innovation in China is on the rise,but the efficiency level varies significantly between regions;(2)Different types of environmental regulation have a promoting effect on the efficiency of green technology innovation,which is in line with the theory of "Porter hypothesis",there is significant regional heterogeneity between environmental regulation and green technology innovation efficiency;(3)Government subsidies and market-oriented levels can positively regulate the impact of environmental regulation on the efficiency of green technology innovation.The research conclusions of this paper further enrich the relevant research on green technology innovation,broaden the improvement path of green technology innovation,and provide certain enlightenment and reference significance for the improvement of government environmental regulation policies.
