Performance Evaluation Of Waste Resource Utilization Of Livestock And Poultry Breeding Enterprises

With the increasing demand for livestock and poultry products in China,livestock and poultry industry has developed rapidly,and large-scale farming has become the main producer of livestock and poultry industry in China.At the same time,livestock and poultry in the process of large-scale breeding produced a large number of pollutants,which exceeded the local natural ecological environment can bear,resulting in pollution of the surrounding environment,and thus hindered the development of livestock and poultry breeding industry.Livestock and poultry wastes are also available resources.In 2019,document No.1 of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council,Several Opinions on Adhering to the Priority Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas and Improving the Work of "Agriculture,Countryside and Agriculture",clearly pointed out:Developing eco-recycling agriculture,promoting the resource utilization of agricultural wastes such as livestock and poultry manure,and realizing the treatment and coverage of the whole county.How to rationally evaluate the performance of livestock and poultry wastes recycling is of great practical significance for improving the efficiency of livestock and poultry wastes recycling and realizing the coordinated development of large-scale livestock and poultry farming and rural ecological environment.This has become a realistic problem that the government,breeding enterprises,academia and other relevant subjects pay wide attention to.Taking animal husbandry enterprises in Dongting Lake Eco-economic Zone as an example,this study integrates economy,society,ecology and technology into a unified analytical framework to evaluate the performance of animal husbandry enterprises in recycling waste.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows.(1)According to the results of performance evaluation,the comprehensive score of economic performance at the standard level is the highest,which indicates that the economic performance level of livestock and poultry enterprises’ waste recycling is higher than that of social performance,ecological performance and technical performance.(2)From the analysis of performance evaluation and research results,under the background of rural revitalization,the national government has strongly supported the recycling of livestock and poultry industry wastes,and achieved remarkable results.However,there are still many problems in the recycling of livestock and poultry industry wastes at present.First,the overall quality of aquaculture enterprises(households)is low and the relevant agricultural technical barriers are high;second,the aquaculture enterprises(households)pursue interests and neglect environmental protection;third,the lack of effective punishment mechanism system;fourth,the profit of large-scale aquaculture is limited.(3)From the analysis of the regression results of the influencing factors of performance evaluation,the thematic research results of the influencing factors of the performance of livestock and poultry enterprises’ waste recycling utilization show that the economic performance,social performance and technical performance are relatively efficient.
