Evaluation Of Urban Rail Transit Companies Based On ESG Evaluation System

With the lack of social responsibility,China’s listed companies are facing increasingly severe social problems.How to promote enterprises to take the initiative to shoulder their own responsibilities has become an important topic in today’s society.The concept of sustainable development of environment,social responsibility and corporate governance will eventually become the mainstream development trend in the future.ESG(Environmental,Social and Governance)is a new evaluation standard.It is a kind of enterprise management thought and evaluation criterion based on environment,society and governance.The application of ESG concept in China is still in the initial stage of development.In the practice of sustainable development ability assessment of listed companies,there are few studies on urban rail transit companies,and its evaluation indicators are not sound enough and need to be improved.There are still many problems to be further discussed and implemented in the application.To perfect our country the sustainable development of urban rail transit company ability evaluation index system,promote standardization,in this paper,based on the perspective of corporate social responsibility,first of all,ESG are summarized three elements respectively related literature research as well as the mainstream institutions and scholars at home and abroad application of ESG assessment system,and analyzes the current research status of limitations,Then understand,has been clear about the ESG related theory and the concept of sustainable development,on this basis,give full consideration to the sustainable development of domestic urban rail transit companies key problems and the affected individuals and groups,in combination with the sustainable development of the country and the world policy and objectives,to build the company ESG evaluation index system of urban rail transit;Secondly,using the entropy weight method,such as weight method,analytic hierarchy process,and four methods integration method,by adopting the combination of subjective and objective way to determine the weighting of the evaluation indicators,to study,by using the extension evaluation to the sustainable development ability with single index feature degree calculation,to determine the company’s comprehensive level of sustainable development of urban rail transit,Thus,the ESG evaluation model of urban mass transit company is constructed.Finally,through the case analysis of Hong Kong Railway Corporation Limited,the evaluation system and evaluation model are verified,and the evaluation results are analyzed to provide a strong basis for enterprises to better fulfill their social responsibilities.
