With the increasing requirements of hole precision and surface roughness,the processing technology of precision hole have attracted much attention,and the role of reamer have become increasingly prominent and widely used in production,and with the upgrading of manufacturing industry,high grade CNC tools represented by solid carbide tools have broad development prospects,because of its high cutting speed,durability,reliability and machining efficiency.Therefore,the research of tool digital design and manufacturing technology is important to improve the tool manufacturing level in China,reduce the technical threshold of tool manufacturing and increase the tool market share at home and abroad.In this paper,the reamer geometric features are analyzed,and the reamer grinding algorithm is studied,on this basis,the grinding process system development and grinding simulation verification are carried out.The specific research contents are as follows :The research on reamer grinding algorithm and model establishment.The geometric features composition and design parameters selection of the reamer are introduced.The parametric mathematical model of standard grinding wheel and tool bar blank(hereinafter referred to as workpiece)are established.The principle of grinding wheel pose transformation is explained.The initial position and grinding path of grinding wheel in grinding each reamer geometric features are determined by the reamer design parameters.The mathematical analytical model of the reamer spiral groove surface is established based on the gear meshing envelope principle.Finally,the reamer sweep grinding model is established based on the discrete principle and graphical method.The development of reamer grinding process system.The process system is based on the algorithm of the established reamer sweep grinding model.It takes MATLAB App Designer as the development environment for the corresponding graphical interface design and function module programming,which can realize the operation of parameter input,grinding wheel pose solution,model preview and post-processing.After inputting the design parameters of grinding wheel and reamer in the process system parameters-input interface,the initial grinding position and orientation of the grinding wheel can be solved automatically,and then the cutter location source file of the grinding wheel can be generated and the sweep grinding model can be previewed.Finally,the NC program can be obtained by post-processing.The grinding simulation and verification.In order to verify the established reamer sweep grinding model and the NC program generated by the process system,a 1:1 three-dimensional model of KTool G3515 five axis tool-grinding machine is built and the simulation environment is configured in VERICUT.Subsequently,the grinding simulation experiment is carried out and the reamer grinding simulation model is obtained.The AUTO-DIFF and comparative measurement function of VERICUT are used to compare the spiral groove fitting model with simulation model,and the key design parameters of reamer grinding simulation model are measured and verified.The correctness of reamer grinding algorithm and generated NC program are verified.
