With the rapid development of large aircraft,the conventional PCM-based airborne test system has become increasingly unable to meet the aircraft test requirements for its high cost and limited network flexibility,data bandwidth and transmission distance,meanwhile,the networked and distributed airborne test system has become more and more popular.Networked airborne test system based on EtherCAT has wide application prospects because of the advanced features of real-time Ethernet standard EtherCAT,such as excellent synchronous performance,high speed,high efficiency,high adaptability and short refresh cycle.The commercial Ethernet based AFDX of Airbus and Boeing Co.that can meet the high safety,high reliability and easy maintenance requirements of avionics communication network,has excellent performance and represents the development trend of airborne data bus.Based on the project-"Research on key Technology of Data Acquisition System Based on Real-time Ethernet and its Implementation and Verification",this paper provide a deep research on the design and implementation of the AFDX bus data acquisition module.Firstly,a description of the status quo in the airborne test system,and an analysis of the changes in airborne test demands as well as its networked development trend followed by an introduction to the EtherCAT communication protocol,EtherCAT system components and AFDX protocol is given in the paper.Secondly,the design requirement of AFDX bus data acquisition module according to the process flow as obtaining task configuration,acquiring data and sending the data to EtherCAT master is analysed.Then a design scheme of the AFDX bus data acquisition system is introduced,the detailed description of its components as well as its circuit design and verification in Verilog hardware description language and is also given.Lastly,a system test platform is built,on which the whole data acquisition system is tested.The test results show that the design of the AFDX bus data acquisition system is reasonable and feasible,it works steadily and properly,and the design goals are achieved.
