| 5S management,theoretically simple but practical in operation,is a site management method attaching importance to skills.Originating from Japan,the theory has 5 Japanese words all beginning with S,referring to"consolidation","rectification","clarification","cleanness" and "quality".5S management has been proved as an effective way of scientific management in factory site management.Through the implementation of 5S management,businesses can guarantee safe production,improve corporate image,enhance job efficiency,achieve cost optimization,and improve staff morale.By summarizing the related theories of 5S management,the paper takes J Thermal Power Plant as the research object,and describes the development and experiences of its site 5S management.On the basis of 5S management effects and the existing problems,the paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Firstly,the paper introduces the research background and significance,and puts forward the main research contents and methods.The paper also reviews the existing researches,the concept,functions and necessities of 5S site management,the existing problems,and the countermeasures.The paper describes the development and experiences of site 5S management of J Thermal Power Plant.The description of the development is from 8 aspects,preparation,consolidation,rectification,cleaning,quality,inspection,and improvement.The description of experiences is from 4 aspects,leadership cognition,management concept conduction,management system construction,and staff quality and participation.The effect and existing problems of the 5S site management of J thermal power plant are analyzed through interviews and questionnaires.There are some problems:the safety management system is not perfect,the responsibility of security management is not clear,the enterprises pay insufficient attention to the mental state of the front-line employees,the workers ’safety production ideology is not strong.(c)Inadequate stock standards,inadequate updating of the material management system,inadequate cost control of material procurement,natural wear and tear and theft due to improper fuel storage;In the field environment,there are some problems such as the untimely cleaning of used and waste articles,the environment of factory and office,and the occasional dust.Some employees do not strictly follow the standard regulations of the post.Employees are untidy and unnerved.Lastly,the suggestions include:to improve the security management system through naming,planning and correcting,qualitative and quantifying,feedback and closed loop,supervision and inspection,and to improve the attention to the mental state of frontline employees to reduce the safety risks;The purpose of controlling the cost of material purchase is to upgrade the material management system,set up the requisitioning plan and the related system of budget management,and manage the coal farm scientifically by scientifically and rationally calculating the coal reserves,building the dry coal shed and strengthening the security measures.To improve the site environment in detail should adhere to high standards,strict requirements;To standardize production management and implement job responsibility system by refining and decomposing job content and strengthening track record of post personnel and equipment;Continuous improvement of employee literacy,gradually form the employee conscious reflection,improvement and management of the benign mechanism.It is hoped that the study can provide references and insights in 5S management and site improvement as well as provides new perspectives and new data for the researches in this field. |
