Hybrid excitation generators for light vehicles have the advantages of high power density and reliability of pure permanent magnet generators,as well as the advantages of electromagnetic adjustability of electric excitation generators.They have tremendous research value and broad market prospects in the field of vehicle generators.By comparing different topological schemes of hybrid excitation generator,a hybrid excitation generator with alternating-pole permanent magnet and combined claw-pole electric excitation is proposed.The magnetic field generated in the main air gap is combined in parallel to form a hybrid excitation generator.The structure parameters of alternating-pole permanent magnet rotor,combined claw-pole electric excitation rotor and stator are designed and calculated.Then the influence of different winding methods on generator output characteristics is analyzed,and the fractional slot double-layer winding method with 3-phase 12 poles 54 slots is determined.The equivalent magnetic circuit method is used to establish the equivalent magnetic circuit model for the alternating-pole permanent magnet magnetic field,the combined claw-pole electric excitation magnetic field and the mixed magnetic field hybrid excitation generator synthetic magnetic field.By solving the established equivalent magnetic circuit model,the magnetic potential,permeance,effective flux and leakage flux of hybrid excitation generator with hybrid magnetic circuit can be obtained,and the leakage system under different magnetic circuit models can be obtained.The results provide theoretical basis for the analysis of magnetic flux leakage factors,reduction of magnetic flux leakage,improvement of effective magnetic flux and optimization of structural design.Using finite element simulation software,two-dimensional simulation model of alternating-pole permanent magnet rotor,three-dimensional simulation model of combined claw-pole electric excitation rotor and parallel composite rotor with hybrid magnetic circuit are established respectively.Through simulation and analysis under static field,the distribution of magnetic line,flux density vector diagram and flux density nephogram in magnetic field are obtained,and the induction current waveform,induction electromotive force waveform and air gap magnetic density comparison diagram of the armature winding under no-load and different loads are simulated with transient field.The simulation results show that the magnetic field distribution of the hybrid excitation generator with hybrid magnetic circuit is reasonable and the output characteristics meet the design requirements.The hybrid excitation generator with hybrid magnetic circuit can provide stable direct-current power for on-board electrical equipment and automobile power supply when the vehicle is driving under the complex conditions,and meet the design requirements.
