Hybrid excitation generator for vehicle has the advantages of high power density of permanent magnet generators and electromagnetic adjustment convenient of electromagnetic generators,become the research emphasis of vehicle generator in the future.This paper compared with the topology structure of all kinds of hybrid excitation generator,a design scheme of combined permanent magnet and brushless electromagnetic parallel magnetic circuit hybrid excitation generator was proposed.The characteristics of the magnetic circuit of the permanent magnet rotor,the brushless claw pole electromagnetic rotor and the hybrid excitation generator are analyzed.According to the main technical indicators of generator for vehicle,design the rotor's and the stator's structural parameters of combined permanent magnetic and brushless claw pole electromagnetic parallel magnetic path hybrid excitation generator.Then the geometrical dimension of combined permanent magnetic rotor,brushless electromagnetic rotor and stator has been fixed.The embedding mode of 8 pole 36 slot fractional slot winding was designed by slot number distribution,which was fixed by slot-vector star graph.The 2D model of combined permanent magnetic rotor,3D model of brushless claw pole electromagnetic rotor and hybrid excitation generator were built by Ansoft software.Then the optimization design of permanent magnet rotor and brushless claw pole electromagnetic rotor were carried out.Analyzed the chart of magnetic force lines,magnetic flux density modulus value and magnetic flux density vector in the static magnetic field for 2D and 3D model,and the induced electromotive force waveform in the transient magnetic field,simulation results show the effectiveness of the design.On the basis of comprehensive analysis of the voltage stabilizing control strategy of hybrid excitation generator,an electronic voltage stabilizing controller was selected,which was composed of a reference circuit,a comparison circuit,a trigger circuit and a H bridge control circuit.The simulation analysis showed that the electronic voltage stabilizing controller could ensure the stability of the output voltage of the combined permanent magnetic and the brushless electromagnetic hybrid excitation generator in the wide speed range and load range.Finally,the result of prototype performance test can meet the design requirements.
