| To solve the problems of drainage pavement diseases and reduce costs,a new type of high volume rubber powder of high viscosity modifier SBRORP(SBR modifier+Oleoresin+ Rubber Powder)was developed by composition optimization and composition ratio determination of high viscosity modifier.The properties of modified asphalt and its mixture were studied.The main research work and results are as follows:(1)According to the asphalt performance index,DA dispersant,anhydrous citric acid,rapeseed oil and oil resin were added to the Basic high viscosity modifer(mainly composed of rubber powder and terpene resin).The resin-like tackifier oil resin was obtained by the analysis of asphalt modification mechanism and the comparison of test data.In order to improve the low temperature ductility of the Basic high viscosity modified asphalt,the rubber elastomer SBR modifier was added.The results show that the high temperature stability,viscosity,consistency and low temperature ductility of the binder were improved by SBR modifier.As a result,the composition of the new high viscosity modifier SBRORP was determined.(2)The orthogonal experiment of three levels(different dosage),three factors(SBR modifier,oil resin and rubber powder)and four indexes(5℃ ductility,penetration,softening point and 60℃ dynamic viscosity data)was designed,and the data of the results was analyzed to obtain the new composition ratio of high viscosity modifier SBRORP.(3)To study the modification effect of the new high viscosity modifier SBRORP,the high viscosity modifier and the new high viscosity modifier SBRORP were added to the base asphalt by 8%,10%and 12%,and the asphalt modification effect was compared by adding 8%of the mixture into SBS modified asphalt.The results show that the modification effect of new high viscosity modifier SBRORP was good.(4)The mix ratio of SBRORP modified asphalt mixture was designed.Marshall test and OGFC gradation composition calculation table were used to obtain a set of OGFC-13 gradation with 19.8%void ratio with 20%target void ratio and 2.36 mm sieve pass rate.The optimum whetstone ratio was obtained by the flying test of Asphalt mixture in Fort Kenta and the leakage test of asphalt mixture in Sherenburg.(5)According to the road performance of SBRORP modified asphalt mixture,rutting test,low temperature bending test and Marshall stability test of asphalt mixture were carried out respectively for its high temperature stability,low temperature stability and water stability.The results of the experiment show that high viscosity modifier SBRORP satisfies the technical requirements. |
