Research On The Restoration Of The Spatial Pattern Of Kelan City In Shanxi Provinc

Kelan City is located in what is now Kelan County,Xinzhou,Shanxi Province.The combination of "government city " and "military city" is the most prominent feature of Kelan City in the historical period.This paper selects Kelan City as the case study object,and through long-term research on this case,promotes the enrichment and improvement of the urban history research system,and discusses the spatial characteristics,development paths and general laws of such special types of cities.significance.This paper uses the research paradigm of city archeology that urban city supercedes the ancient one,and by re-organizing and researching the historical evolution of Kelan City,from the late Qing Dynasty to the founding of the Tang Dynasty,analyzes and restores the elements of the city defense system,functional buildings and street pattern of Kelan City.The evolution process,and then comprehensively obtain the stage deduction of the spatial form of the city in the historical period,clarify the main appearance of the city in each historical stage since the founding of the city,and reorganize the development context of the urban form.On the basis of establishing a general historical understanding,the article finally discusses the three significant characteristics of Kelan City in the three aspects of urban constituent elements,spatial pattern and its changing process,and analyzes its motives.Specific to the structure of the article,on the basis of analyzing and recognizing the location of Kelan City,contemporary urban construction and the status quo of ancient urban relics in the first chapter,taking the age as a clue,from the outside to the inside,it is divided into three chapters to restore the city of Kelan.The evolution process of the city defense system,functional buildings and street pattern.The second chapter,Restoration of the City Defense Facilities,discusses the location,shape and expansion of the ancient city wall.Due to the interdependence between the
