Due to the complex competitive environment,high operational risk,high technical threshold,large capital demand,strong customer barriers and other different problems faced by new start-ups,their internal resources and knowledge can no longer meet the needs of enterprise growth.Fully tapping and absorbing external resources is the key to ensure the survival of new start-ups.Social network has a large amount of industry information,specialized knowledge and management experience,and the cost of using social network is relatively low.It has a high degree of fit with new ventures and strong complementarity,which can make up for the different bottlenecks of new ventures in various stages of development.At the same time,there is a big gap between the survival rate and growth of start-ups.Therefore,it is of practical significance to explore the impact of social networks on the growth of start-ups.Based on the enterprise life cycle theory,resource dependence theory,social capital theory and signal transmission theory,this paper selects the start-ups as the research object,expounds the characteristics and development bottlenecks of start-ups in different development stages,and analyzes the relationship between social relationship network and the growth of start-ups,as well as the path and effect of social relationship network on start-ups.This paper makes a case study on the development process of Karen shares.It is found that social relationship network can support start-ups from the aspects of capital supply,business strategy,technological innovation and business expansion,and promote the rapid growth of enterprises.First,when the enterprise is in the initial stage,due to the limitations of resources and reputation,the enterprise social relationship network is mainly an executive relationship network based on emotional trust.Based on the need to solve the development bottlenecks such as unclear business strategy,lack of innovative talents and technology and difficulties in entering the market,and the executive relationship network has highly concentrated industry experience,information and knowledge,so enterprises are suitable to use the executive relationship network with high fit.Second,when the enterprise is in the growth period,the social relationship network gradually evolves into a relationship network based on cognitive trust.Based on the need to solve the development bottlenecks of tight capital,low capital utilization rate and lack of long-term competitiveness,and there are a variety of information with efficient liquidity in the supply chain relationship network,enterprises are suitable to use the supply chain relationship network with high fit.Third,social networks can promote the growth of start-ups.The executive relationship network can provide value-added services such as strategic guidance,innovative resources,government guarantee and market opportunities for new ventures,reduce business risks,improve growth and profitability,accelerate enterprise growth,expand product sales coverage and increase market share.The supply chain relationship network can promote the sharing of market information,technical information and joint R&D among enterprises through the trust mechanism,promote product diversification,help enterprises improve their reputation,obtain more funds,improve the utilization rate of funds,and finally increase operating revenue,achieve rapid business expansion,improve R&D input and output,enhance the technological innovation ability of enterprises,enhance enterprise value,and improve the quality of growth.From a dynamic point of view,this paper studies the choice of social network of start-ups and its economic consequences based on the characteristics and bottlenecks of different development stages.This has a strong practical guiding significance for start-ups,and provides management enlightenment for start-ups to make more effective use of social networks,improve enterprise value and the probability of successful growth.
