| Mr.Chen Congzhou once said,"Furniture is commonly known as ’house belly intestines’,its important to know,the garden lacks furniture,that is,the chest has no ink." Suzhou’ s advantageous geographical location made it a favorite gathering place for scholars and calligraphers of all dynasties.Suzhou gardens are the best in the world,and garden culture is also famous in the world.This paper hopes to summarize the principles and methods of interior furniture furnishings of Suzhou garden buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties through in-depth research on the existing historical materials,so as to provide some reference for the new Chinese style interior furniture furnishings today.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part,through reading a large number of historical materials and field research on the Ming and Qing Dynasties of Suzhou garden furniture in-depth research,elaborated the origin and development of Suzhou garden furniture,summarized its characteristics,so as to lead to the garden building interior furniture furnishings thinking.The second part studies and expounds the reasons for the formation of Suzhou garden interior furniture furnishings,which are mainly influenced by the social ideology,the concept of literati,traditional folk customs and garden and architectural culture.The third part,through research and analysis summarizes the Suzhou garden hall,study,bedroom and other space furniture furnishings.The fourth part uses case analysis to analyze how these furniture furnishings are reflected in the new Chinese residential space.The fifth part presents the research results through design practice. |
