| Along with the global energy shortage and severe environmental pollution,new energy vehicles ushered in tremendous development opportunities.The governemnt also adopted a series of supporting policies and plans to encourgae the development of new energy vehicles.In this case,traditional vehicle companies,new forces carmakers and Cross-border carmakers,as three mainstreams in China’s new energy industry,make a major push to develop themselves.Among of them,Tesla achieved a rapid rise and accupied an important part of such market.While recognizing the opportunities,the domestic new energy companies also should be aware of the difficulties and challenges before them.As a new smart carmaker,XP New Energy Vehicle Company(Shortened as XP Motors)is one of the representatives.For that reason,the thesis does the in-depth study on XP Motors’ competitive strategy and finds that in order to keep strengths under the increasingly vigorous competition environment,carmakers need to improve and adjust competitive strategy at a right time.Firstly,the thesis introduces the background and purpose of the research on XP Motors’ competition strategy and them comments the domestic and foreign research on new energy vehicle industry business development.Secondly,basing on the research,the thesis indicates problems and challenges that new energy vehicle carmakers experienced when facing external competitive environment and changing policies.By using PEST model,the growth of economy and personal income,the government’s supportive policies and the rapid development of technology provides favorable external development environment for new energy vehicle carmakers.The thesis also analysis the automobile industry competitions by using Porter’s Five Forces Model,which help the new energy carmakers to recognize the competitive advantages and work out strategies.Thirdly,the paper concluded XP Motors advantages and disadvantages of internal resources.Thus,applying SWOT Analysis,the thesis carries out XP Motors strategic combination following the three aspects:focusing strategy,cost advanced strategy and differential strategy,among of which,differential strategy is the most suited way for XP Motors to develop business.Finally,the thesis illustrates the implementation and safeguard measures of XP Motors competitive strategy from three aspects:organization management,funds management,and corporate culture management. |
