| Engineering management specialty is an integrated subject with the intersection of engineering technology and management.This major requires students to master management,civil engineering technology,and construction regulations.Students have extensive knowledge and comprehensive knowledge system.But they need to strengthen their knowledge in specific areas,adapt to the trend of the times and become high-quality T-shaped talents.Based on these characteristics,engineering management students are more likely to suffer from mental fatigue.However,there is little research on the learning burnout of engineering management students,and there is little systematic research on the cause and mechanism of learning burnout.Through reviewing literature,this study selects engineering management students from more than 60 universities in China as the research object,and conducts research on more than 3,000 engineering management students.With reference to psychological and organizational behavior scales,a questionnaire on learning burnout and influencing factors for engineering management students was prepared.Using SPSS to make descriptive statistics and correlation analysis on the sample data,this paper analyzes the overall situation of learning burnout and the differences based on demographic characteristics.Based on the social ecology model,this paper constructs a hypothetical model framework of learning burnout.Based on psychological theory,this study proposes a series of hypothetical action paths,uses Amos to verify the hypothetical model deletes the insignificant path and adds a covariant relationship to the error variable according to the M.I.value.Finally,the fitting value index of the modified model is excellent.Through the revised structural equation model,the direct or indirect paths of major factors acting on learning burnout were identified.The main conclusions include:(1)The large-scale sample data show that the scale has good reliability and validity,is consistent with the existing theory,and can well reflect the learning situation of engineering management students.(2)Students majoring in engineering management are at a moderate level of learning burnout.Depression and low sense of achievement are at a moderate level,and misconduct is at a severe level.Misconduct deserves more attention.From all dimensions,learning burnout is very common.(3)The demographic results show that the three dimensions of learning burnout have nothing to do with individual gender,but have different degrees of correlation with grade,achievement,professional teachers,school type,college entrance examination volunteer;(4)The structural equation interaction mechanism model shows that the factors interact.The path of each factor acting on burnout is not unique.School is the primary factor causing learning burnout.Each dimension of burnout corresponds to specific adverse consequences. |
