| As the first batch of market-oriented industries in China,the appliance industry has natural advantages in internationalization.At present,some of China’s home appliance enterprises are leading in the internationalization level in the world,while some of them are just entering the international market,but they all have to face a series of problems brought by international competition.Therefore,this thesis analyzes the factors influencing the internationalization of China’s home appliance enterprises,and through a comprehensive discussion,makes a summary and proposes corresponding suggestions in order to improve the international competitiveness of China’s home appliance enterprises.This thesis first summarizes the current situation of domestic and foreign development of China’s home appliance enterprises,and explores the overseas home appliance market,using developed and emerging regions as distinctions.After a review of the literature,it is found that the factors affecting the internationalization of enterprises are divided into two parts,internal and external,in which the internationalization of home appliance enterprises is studied and analyzed.In the analysis of external factors,a hierarchical clustering was used to divide the 24 target markets into three categories according to seven aspects: unemployment rate of the host country,GDP per capita,cultural similarity with China,science and technology innovation index,foreign trade dependence,residents’ recognition of China,and geographical distance from China,and suggestions for entry order were given based on further scoring ranking.In the analysis of internal factors,a panel data model was established with the data of 17 listed home appliances from 2014 to 2020 as the sample,with the degree of corporate internationalization as the dependent variable,marketing capability,R&D capability,management capability,profitability,financing capability,executive age,number of executive team,and corporate talent pool as the independent variables,and corporate size and corporate age as the control variables,to analyze the relevant indicators The degree of influence on the internationalization of enterprises,it is concluded that the increase of marketing ability,management ability and the average age of executives helps to improve the internationalization level of home appliance enterprises,while R&D ability is negatively related to the internationalization level.Finally,based on the analysis results,suggestions are made to home appliance enterprises from three aspects: overseas markets,enterprises and individuals,to stabilize existing overseas markets,accelerate the development of new markets,increase investment in R&D,marketing and management,follow the trend of intelligent home appliances,strengthen brand internationalization,strengthen the construction of executive team,pay attention to enterprise talent reserve,and actively use their own advantages to participate in international competition. |
