As the COVID-19 pandemic continues for a long time,people tend to avoid public places with large crowds such as gyms and spend more time in home environments.Fitness can effectively promote physical health,and is also an important means to improve body confidence and relieve psychological stress.Home exercise,which is more flexible than gym conditions,is being favored by more young users.Based on the needs of users,this paper establishes the design process of home fitness equipment based on the fitness needs of young male users and guides the design of home fitness products by studying the physiological and psychological characteristics,preferences and fitness needs of young male users.This paper is roughly divided into the following parts:Firstly,it analyzes the background and significance of the design of young male home fitness products,understands the research status at home and abroad related to the subject,points out the existing problems in the design of young male home fitness products,summarizes the research content and research methods,and establishes the research framework.And the characteristics of young men and home fitness products are analyzed to establish a preliminary understanding of the user groups and product characteristics of young men home products.Secondly,using the field observation and initially user needs access to user interviews,the demand of the fuzzy information,and then according to the questionnaire survey to obtain the information,access to A lot of young men fitness data on the user’s demand,and then using KJ method,method of drawing A charts,categorizing demand relatively clear demand information are summarized.Thirdly,KANO model is used to screen the user needs and determine the weight of user needs.Fourthly,FBS model is used to transform the selected user needs into product structure.Fifth,according to the product structure and user research of young male users on the appearance and color requirements of home fitness products,combined with ergonomics,innovative design of home fitness products.Finally,the designed fitness products were evaluated to investigate young male users’ satisfaction with the function and appearance of the products and verify whether the design scheme is in line with the original intention of this paper.
