With the advent of the era of experience economy,people’s consumption level has gradually improved.While the material level has been greatly enriched,people’s needs for spiritual and cultural life have begun to increase.Cultural complexes,as composite public cultural buildings that carry cultural activities Big cities have sprung up like mushrooms after a rain.However,due to the changes in the needs of urban construction and people’s behavioral and psychological needs,the traditional value concepts of cultural complexes are also being updated during this period.Endowed with a strong mission,on the other hand,the cultural complex has gradually become a cultural experience and consumption place for the public to enjoy leisure and entertainment,and is valued by consumers.Therefore,it also poses new requirements and challenges for the design of cultural complexes.This paper discusses the cultural complex in the context of today’s experience economy.Guided by the theory of experience economy,the design research of the cultural complex is carried out from the two aspects of the experience creation and value enhancement of the cultural complex,and the corresponding suggestions are put forward.Design Strategy.The paper firstly studies the relevant theoretical knowledge of the experience economy,summarizes the basic characteristics of the experience economy,and discusses the changes in the field of architectural design in the era of the experience economy.The design of the lower cultural complex provides a reference.Secondly,through relevant case studies,field visits and questionnaire surveys of cultural complexes,to understand the current design problems of cultural complexes and people’s design needs for cultural complexes,and to reflect on the development dilemma of cultural complexes;Then,combining the theory of experience economy with the development and construction of cultural complex,it analyzes the value concept of cultural complex in the era of experience economy in detail,and analyzes the cultural complex from four aspects: sensory experience,emotional experience,thinking experience and action experience.Based on the analysis of the experience design,and the discussion of the economic value of cultural synthesis from the three aspects of urban catalyst,multi-point linkage,and self-operation,the design principles of cultural complex in the experience economy era are put forward.Finally,in the era of experience economy,the design of the appearance image of the cultural complex under the contemporary aesthetic experience,the presentation of the external space under the experience of the place characteristics,the construction of the space function under the shared experience of the city,and the creation of the interior space under the scene immersion experience are proposed.Strategy.Based on the above research,this paper hopes to provide a new way of thinking for the design of cultural complexes,to design buildings that meet the needs of urban construction and the needs of public experience,and to provide a certain reference value for the design practice of cultural complexes in the era of experience economy.
