At present,the rise of e-commerce and the transformation of consumer shopping patterns have put forward higher requirements for the development of the real economy,the original old commercial streets have begun to focus on experiential consumption and creating a space for social interaction,the starting point is the needs of people’s activities in the renovation and reconstruction,try to bring consumers back to physical commercial consumption.The development of new technologies and methods can intuitively display the characteristics of crowd behavior and activity distribution in commercial spaces,build virtual scenes to simulate pedestrian activities,reveal the relationship between the built environment of space and consumer behavior activities,and summarize problems,which is of great significance to the research of commercial street renewal design.As the first commercial street in Xi’an,Xi’an Electronic City Commercial Street has been to a simple and accessible rode because its business functions,infrastructure,physical environment and spatial organization can not meet the internal needs of current consumers.Based on the designers’ subjective experiences,the current situation is quantified and summarized,use multi-source data to verify and deeply excavate the contradiction between the space environment and consumer behavior,propose the specific transformation strategies on this basis.Three types of data,including Baidu heat map,refined classification of spatial behavior of different age groups and subjective evaluation of questionnaires,are selected to analyze the relationship between the distribution of consumer behavior in space and the existing built environment.association.In the analysis process,the three kinds of data are firstly described and visualized with preliminary statistics.After the above process,on the one hand,it is found that the data presents different information based on the distribution state of time and space.For example,the Baidu heat map shows that the distribution of consumers in space has strong temporality and purpose;the refined classification of activities in different age groups shows consumers’ preferences for space,young people are mainly engaged in commercial activities in commercial streets,the elderly are mainly engaged in social activities and middle-aged people are involved in both,but the singleness and homogeneity of the material space lead to little difference in the behaviors of the three age groups.On the other hand,based on the subjective evaluation of consumers,it summarizes the current shortcomings of the commercial street.The fusion of multisource data to discover,verify and supplement the subjective judgment of the designer will help to more accurately discover the problems existing in the commercial street.Select excellent cases for research,summarize and analyze from scale,moving line,landscape,interface and so on and extract corresponding strategies.According to the actual problems of the Electronic City Commercial Street,the renovation design of the electronic city commercial street is completed.Combined with the previous research data,build a pedestrian simulation platform,compare with the actual scene to verify the effectiveness,according to the adjustment of the updated design scheme,simulation and comparison of consumer behavior paths and store visits before and after renovation,judge whether the layout of the space elements is reasonable after the transformation and optimize many times to make sure the design process can be circularly cycled.In China,the commercial street as a special space in the city is an inescapable research when the city is from incremental development to stock improvement development.Through the research of this paper,the collection,visualization and analysis of multi-source data and pedestrian simulation are applied to the complete process of commercial street renewal design to sort out,and provide some references for future data-based environmental behavior research and commercial street renewal design research.
