The Research On Selection And Design Of Modern Timber Architecture Joints

With the development of material technology and people’s attention to green building materials,wood,as a material that has been passed down for nearly a thousand years,has regained people’s favor.As the component unit of modern timber architecture,joint plays a vital role in modern timber architecture.Due to the short development time of modern timber architecture industry in our country,the application is not wide enough,and many domestic architects do not have a deep understanding of modern timber architecture,resulting in rough joint forms,copying foreign technologies,and lack of new ideas.Based on this,this paper aims at the related problems existing in the engineering application of modern timber architecture joints,the joint selection and design of modern timber architecture are analyzed from the dual perspectives of technology and art.First,by combing the development context,joint composition and material properties of timber architecture joint forms,the basic characteristics of modern timber architecture joints are summarized,and the theoretical basis for related research is provided.Secondly,on the one hand,through the collection of common and large-scale node data,from the perspective of construction technology,the paper analyzes the action mechanism of the three elements of material system,structural system and construction form on the joint and the corresponding joint form.On the other hand,by analyzing domestic and foreign timber architecture cases,aiming at individualized joints,innovative design strategies focusing on culture,technology and art are proposed to provide ideas for the innovative design of modern timber architecture joints under the background of modern industrialization.Finally,taking the project that the author participated in as an example,the proposed node selection design method and strategy are analyzed and exemplified,so as to provide a reference for the project practice of modern timber architecture.
