| The IGC concept is the abbreviation for "Interactive Growth Community",which is a new design philosophy based on the concepts of "Smart Community" and "Smart City".This concept has important implications not only for the construction of future communities,but also for the revitalization of old communities,especially mining communities.The IGC concept provides a new approach to address issues such as the lack of vitality in old mining communities,poor interaction between people and space,and the health and wellness issues of residents caused by the simple landscape environment.In this paper,the IGC concept is applied to the landscape design of the Jingxing old mining community.A comprehensive analysis of the environmental pollution,industrial heritage preservation,and health and wellness issues faced by the mining community is conducted,and a new approach is taken from both the "interaction" and "growth" aspects of landscape design to enhance community vitality and resident happiness,and to effectively solve the prominent problems in the mining community.This study provides new ideas and research perspectives,and is a valuable reference for urban renewal and mining community revitalization. |
