An Optimization Research On Intellectual Property Management For JX Company

Medical device field in China,most are S&M enterprises.Therefore,high-tech SMEs must explore the importance and urgency of intellectual property strategy in the process of enterprise development,and achieve the purpose of breaking through the rising vigorous competition here and abroad through intellectual property strategy planning.This paper mainly adopt the case study together with the PEST and SWOT analysis and is set the intellectual property management of the JX company,condition of JX company development,and the status of the intellectual property management and investigation and study,the actual JX company in intellectual property management process problems are analyzed,and suggestions from the perspective of intellectual property rights strategy.Firstly,under an analysis of global patent in medical devices in recent 10 years,this article explores the issues in the intellectual property protection of domestic SMEs in the field of medical devices,mainly including weak innovation ability,weak protection consciousness,weak management ability and imperfect system;Then,using PEST and SWOT analysis method,the intellectual property management status of JX company is theoretically analyzed,analyze the advantages,opportunities and risks of JX company in interior and exterior circumstances;Then,JX company,foreign giant DX Company and domestic leading WX company are compared and analyzed from three dimensions,sorting out the existing problems of JX company’s intellectual property management,mainly include: insufficient number of patents,less international patent layout and insufficient number of key patents;Then it analyzes the patent strategy of foreign excellent enterprises,and obtains patent strategy routes that JX company can draw lessons from.Finally,the Boston matrix of enterprise patent strategy is constructed for analysis,and the following suggestions are given from the Angle of intellectual property strategy formulation:combining enterprise development strategy to construct the intellectual property strategy that attaches importance to the FTO,quantity and quality of patent;Growing the quantity and types of patents while ensuring a steady rise in patent quality;Continue to optimize the intellectual property management from the angle of patent classification and the use of professional intellectual property management software;Risk management is carried out from the following four dimensions: avoiding the risk of repeated r&d or infringement of R&D,avoiding the risk of technology disclosure,avoiding the risk of insufficient internal disclosure,and avoiding the risk of neglect of trademark management.
