In recent years,with the increase in the proportion of investment in water conservancy construction in my country,the competition of water conservancy construction projects has become increasingly fierce,which puts forward higher requirements for cost control of water conservancy construction enterprises.Because the construction conditions of water conservancy projects are more difficult than other construction projects,labor costs,material costs,machinery costs and other expenses are relatively large.From the perspective of construction enterprises,an effective cost control method can reduce the construction cost of the enterprise and improve the efficiency of the enterprise,which directly affects the core competitiveness of the enterprise and makes the enterprise have obvious advantages in the competition.Therefore,research on water conservancy project construction project cost control is of great significance.This paper firstly discusses the theory of project cost control and earned value method at home and abroad by means of literature analysis,and introduces the relevant theories of project cost control and the application process of earned value method.Secondly,it introduces the current situation of cost control of S company’s P project by case analysis,and finds that the cost control of P project has problems such as mismatch between cost and schedule,backward cost control methods,poor awareness of cost control,and poor consideration of project budget.It is necessary to introduce earned value method into P project.Through field research to understand the construction progress of the P project,collect cost data to compile a work breakdown structure and work matrix,so as to use the earned value method to analyze the cost and progress of the project in the early stage.According to the existing problems,put forward cost improvement measures,implement cost control measures,and use earned value method indicators to assess the stage cost control effect of P project,and then summarize experience,so as to form a PDCA cycle cost control system,and control according to PDCA cycle The theory and earned value method are applied in the later stage of the P project.Finally,it expounds the safeguard measures to realize the cost control of the P project and evaluates the cost control effect.The research in this paper shows that the use of earned value method in the construction cost control of the P project has obvious effects,and it solves the problems of early construction cost overrun and schedule lag of the P project.By optimizing the cost control system through the PDCA cycle,it can effectively improve the cost control level of the enterprise and ensure the long-term development of the enterprise.healthy operation.At the same time,the synchronous dynamic management of cost and progress is realized,and the decision-making level of managers is improved.This paper innovation place as the content of innovation,using the traditional method in the application of new problems,solving the practical problems existing in reality.The research conclusions of this paper can provide reference for water conservancy engineering construction projects,broaden the application field for the study of earned value method,and effectively avoid the drawbacks of single use of earned value method for cost control.
