Nowadays,the fourth industrial revolution is prevailing globally and digital intelligence is one of the typical examples,which suggests the world economic digital transformation is inevitable and traditional enterprises all have started embracing this change.when facing the 3 new trends that come with enterprise digital transformation,such as factor driving,process revolution and value creation,Industries normally apply“Shared” theory,implement middle platform strategy and reinforce the data driven decision making to drive end to end process change.This dissertation takes the digital transformation of Company H as the background,it investigates and analyses the technical roadmap,implementation methods and building steps used in company H’s middle platform building process to explore the best practices for corporate digital transformation from the perspectives of technology and management.In the process of transforming its business from a singular energy service to diversified energy services,Company H has the urgent needs to break the professional barriers,change its longitudinal tightly coupled building mode in order to rapidly respond to market change,decrease cost and increase efficiency as well as explore new business growth opportunities.The challenges to achieve these objectives include adjustment and refinement for the IT infrastructure,resolution to issues concerning lateral collaboration,how to build a rapid responding mechanism to new requirements,how to solve the conflicts between common standards and customized individuality and how to unleash the power to data value creation.So company H uses middle platform enabled architecture,data valuation and business intelligence as the primary transformation means to build an infrastructure environment that applies “middle platform + service” architecture,which eliminates “data islands”,enables capability reuse across different businesses,global data sharing and technology fusion innovation and ultimately utilizes data to drive business,process,organization and institutional change.During the actual building process,it focuses on building up the middle platform technical capabilities,data management systems,as well as building up related organizational refinement and mechanisms.It adopts a development mode that involves agile development and fast iteration,focuses on converging and reusing business,data and technologies to upgrade different sections into services,refine business process and empower each business sectors in the form of services.Company H’s digital middle platform build-up greatly improves the efficiency for data usage,the data sharing coverage has reached to 100%,the development cycle for applications is significantly reduced,R&D efficiency is greatly improved,as result,its business applications are more convenient and the value for data is getting realised gradually.
