With the rapid development of China’s civil aviation transportation industry,it is very important to build an efficient and safe civil aviation airspace management system which is consistent with the development trend of international standards.Automatic dependent surveillance broadcast(ADS-B)technology is a new type of automatic monitoring technology which integrates wireless communication technology and satellite positioning navigation technology.It can provide control services like radar in areas where radar cannot be deployed,and can also increase the monitoring capability of radar system at a lower cost in radar coverage areas.Therefore,the design of signal receiving system for ADS-B data is significance to improve the China’s civil aviation airspace management ability.This thesis mainly studies and designs ADS-B signal receiving system in 1090 es mode.Field programmable gate array(FPGA)is used to realize the ADS-B signal peocessing,and the demodulation results are uploaded through Gigabit Ethernet.In terms of hardware circuit design,RF receiving module and digital acquisition module are completely designed.In addition,PCB design,plate making,chip installation and debugging are completed.For firmware logic,the acquisition,processing,demodulation and transmission of ADS-B signal based on FPGA platform are realized,and the board level debugging and verification of logic code are completed.In addition,for the problem of data frame detection and synchronization,this thesis designs an improved data frame detection and synchronization algorithm.First,the average power detection method is used to determine the arrival of the data frame,and then the frame header is synchronized by the cross-correlation calculation of the frame header.The simulation results show that the improved data frame detection and synchronization algorithm can increase the success rate of signal detection and synchronization,and reduce the misjudgment of signal.The experimental results show that the ADS-B signal receiving system based on FPGA can receive ADS-B signal correctly.The test results show that the system can receive,demodulate and upload ADS-B signal.
