Due to developing of the economy rapidly, cold chain logistics has gradually received extensive attention.Cold chain logistics requires that the entire process of goods from output to consumption should be kept under low temperature to ensure their quality. The advantage is that it improves the fresh-keeping ability, storage time and food safety. However, due to the special requirements,it is necessary to build cold storage, refrigerated trucks, temperature control equipment, advanced information monitoring systems and other equipments to maintain a seamless connection of temperatures throughout the process. Therefore, compared with ordinary logistics, the cold chain system is more complex and requires higher organizational coordination and timeliness. The optimization research of cold chain logistics mainly focuses on exploring the optimal transportation scheme under different requirements. However,a large number of studies have found that the freshness of cold chain products is an important factor in the circulation.Since entering the circulation link, the freshness of the goods has been affected by time, temperature, etc.,and is constantly changing. The delivery time of the product will affect the transportation plan, and the transportation plan will be vice versa. The two links of inventory and transportation are closely linked. For the complex system of cold chain logistics, separately optimizing the two major logistics links greatly reduces benefits and customer satisfaction, and may cause chain breakage with cargo damage. This paper studies the integrated optimization of inventory and transportation about cold chain logistics to improve operational efficiency and cut total cost.First,it studies the current situation of cold chain;secondly,it discusses the characteristics of cold chain logistics and the freshness function;then it deeply analyzes the transportation optimization problem of cold chain logistics and the integrated optimization problem of inventory and transportation about common cargo.Based on the freshness requirements of cold chain objects, consider the impact of inventory on transportation and make full use of the freshness function and the time of delivery to establish a direct link between inventory costs and transportation costs. The refrigeration cost, inventory cost, transportation cost and cargo damage cost are analyzed to establish an optimization model with the goal of minimizing cost, and design an improved partheno genetic algorithm to solve it.According to the inventory status and demand point requirements, establish a priority freshness selection set for demand points. Also taking into account the mutual influence between inventory and transportation,a virtual time window is used to design the scheme. Finally, design a corresponding example to verify the model and algorithm. At the same time, sensitivity analysis about inventory and freshness level is carried out.The analysis shows that in cold chain, the greater of the two parameters is,the superiority of integrated optimization is more obvious. Therefore,in actual operations, cold chain companies can adopt integrated optimization to effectively balance inventory and transportation considering inventory status and demand requirements comprehensively in order to reduce corporate costs and create greater profit.
