Research On Function Promotion Strategy Of Xishan Economic Development Zone In Wuxi City From The Perspective Of Industry-City Integration

Since the reform and opening up,the construction of development zones has accelerated China’s urbanization and industrialization process,and gradually become the growth pole of urban economic and social development,but there are also problems such as single functional structure,extensive land use,separation of production and living space.Under the background of the new normal development,the city has entered the transition period,and the development zone is also facing the transformation from a single industrial park to a comprehensive new area with complex functions and suitable for living and working.This paper takes Xishan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Wuxi city,Jiangsu Province as the research object,and from the perspective of industry-city integration,discusses the problems and function improvement strategies of the development zone in the process of transformation.First of all,this paper summarizes relevant researches on the integration of industry and city,and concludes the development process of industrial parks into four stages: separation of industry and city,independent governance,marginal integration,and integration of industry and city,and summarizes the main problems,development goals and function improvement strategies of each stage.Then,the fuzzy hierarchy comprehensive evaluation method is adopted to construct the evaluation system of industry-city integration in the development zone by selecting relevant indicators and taking industry,function and space as the target layer of the three elements of industrycity integration.A method is proposed to divide the development stage of industry-city integration by the degree of industry-city integration,define the existing problems of the development zone,and formulate targeted strategies.On this basis,combining with the Wuxi Xishan basic characteristics by the open area and city fusion influence factors,on the city development level fusion measure,judging by the open area at the edge of fusion stage,there are lack of services and the lack of innovation efficiency,supporting services and ecological function is not perfect,lack of the core space system.Based on this,this paper proposes that the economic development zone should be targeted to build a new urban area suitable for living and business with regional competitiveness,and its functions should be life service,production service,high-end manufacturing,scientific research and development,tourism and leisure,and supporting living functions.Then,the core spatial system is constructed by adjusting land use and road system from the perspective of space,industry and function integration.Define the type of leading industry and the function of each industry group,improve the service industry and the construction of innovation carrier;We will optimize the allocation of housing,public services and ecological functions.Finally,suggestions on the functional guidance of different areas at the plot level are put forward to provide reference for xishan Economic development Zone to realize the integrated development of industry and city.There are 70,000 words,38 tables and 81 figures in this paper.
