Development Of Definite Valuepatrol Checking System For Relayprotection Devices In Power Grid

With the development of economy,the demand of electric power is higher and higher.The huge power consumption needs a large number of substations to reasonably transform and distribute power,so the number of substations in the grid is also increasing.In the power grid,relay protection equipment is a very important secondary device.It can cut off the fault in the power grid accurately and timely,isolate the fault point,avoid the expansion of power grid accidents,and ensure the safe operation of the power grid.Only the correct,standard and scientific setting of the protection device and the correctly set of the relay protection device in the power system can ensure the normal operation of the power grid and the reliability of the power supply.In this paper,through the investigation of the status quo and difficulties of the domestic and foreign power grid companies for the verification of the setting value of the substation protection device,presenting a new method to realize remote inspection and check of substation protection settings by combining the current advanced computer control technology and substation communication technology to solve the problem of setting value check of protection device in substation under the environment of high-speed development of social economy,large number,wide distribution and frequent mode change.First of all,this paper summarizes the current situation of the inspection and verification of the relay protection device settings at home and abroad,analyzes the existing problems in the new situation,and discusses the possibility of adopting new methods for the inspection and verification of the relay protection device settings with the development of the power grid and the emergence of new grid control technology.Secondly,through analysis and research,a set of system method is proposed to solve the problem of current power grid setting value verification,that is,to build a set of relay protection device setting inspection and verification master station in the dispatching control center,and to set up sub workstations in other places to achieve the system functions.The hardware composition of the main station and the sub station of the system,the software development needed to realize the relevant functions and the implementation scheme of the communication between the main station and the sub station are put forward appropriately.Finally,by testing the practical application of the system,it is verified that the use of the system can play the expected role,and will not have a bad impact on the stability of the power grid.The proposed system provides a feasible method for the intellectualization of the power grid setting value checking method and the reduction of the workload of the staff.At the end of the paper,it also points out the direction for the future research.
