Research On Simulating Verification System For Power Setting Of Relay Protection

Because of the diversity of the operation mode of the grid, the setting of protective relaying may not fully meet the reliability, selectivity, speed and sensitivity. The protection setting unreliable will inevitably lead to protection malfunction, and cause large-scale power outage. Currently, the fault calculation part and the part of setting calculation in the protection setting calculation software has been improved so that the relay protection setting is more reasonable, which greatly improves the reliability of grid operation. But some problems exist in these software such as the difficulties of graphic modeling, inconvenient maintenance and functional aspects. To solve this problem, the article makes a in-depth research of the online setting simulation and check system of relay protection for power network. This dissertation mainly discussed the content of these aspects:1. Described in detail the design ideas and the overall structural features of the system, and introduce the functions of system maintenance module, fault calculation module, setting calculation module, Simulation module and online analysis fault module.2. Using the ideas of graphical modeling, combined with the connection modes and characteristics of the power plant and system diagram their automatic drawing programs were designed to solve the problem in the difficulties of graphic modeling, inconvenient maintenance.3. In accordance with the movement orbit of the protection devices, the given setting value, measured value and measured angles, the locus models of the various protection and current protection is automatically generated. And the article uses the traditional numerical calculation and intuitive graphical representation to determine the validity of the action of the protection action.4. The basic principles of the simulation is introduced. And the article use the fixed value judge method and the logic judge method to design and program for the procedure of the simulation module.Finally, this paper summarizes the work completed, and puts forward the improving direction for the development of the online setting simulation and check system of relay protection for power network.
