| The multiple floating electrodes coaxial pulse discharge plasma generator is the core component of the electric-thermal conversion in the electrothermal chemical gun.This dissertation completed the free jet pulse discharge experiment of the multiple floating electrodes coaxial pulse discharge plasma generator,given the plasma generator load experimental data of the current,voltage,resistance and electric energy conversion efficiency.This dissertation studies the description of the magnetohydrodynamics of the plasma arc and various algorithms of CFD simulation.Through the secondary development of the ANSYS FLUENT software,a mathematical and physical model of magnetohydrodynamics and ablation plasma for the multiple floating electrodes coaxial pulsed discharge plasma generator has established in ANSYS FLUENT software,and established a two-dimensional axisymmetric model of a multiple floating electrodes coaxial pulsed discharge plasma generator,the multi-physical field distribution of plasma arc spray is obtained by simulation,and the numerical simulation results are consistent with experimental data and previous simulation results.The physical field simulations of the different sizes multiple floating electrodes coaxial pulsed discharge plasma generators were sequentially carried out,qualitatively discussed the relationship between the physical field and size of such plasma generator,recommended a better size for reference in the design of similar plasma generators.Utilized the plasma generator’s resistance-current load relationship obtained by physical field simulation,a preliminary attempt was made to model the load of the multiple floating electrodes coaxial pulsed discharge plasma generator through ANSYS Electronics Desktop software,and added PFN power model and metal wire electric explosion model,the load simulation results were in good agreement with the experimental data.The load simulation of such plasma generator of the recommended size is carried out,and the load performance is better than the original size.To Post-process of the physical field simulation results can obtain the multiple floating electrodes coaxial pulsed discharge plasma generator generated Lorentz force during the discharge,used ANSYS Mechanical software to analyzed the mechanical characteristics of the multiple floating electrodes coaxial pulsed discharge plasma generator in free discharge condition and high chamber pressure condition,obtained such plasma generator’s mode shape,equivalent stress and deformation,clarified the reasons for such plasma generator’s damage after the electrothermal chemical launch experiment and gived solutions. |
