| In secondary vocational teaching,the traditional teaching method restricts the development of students’ ability,and the project teaching mode plays a great role in the cultivation of students’ ability.At present,in the application of the project teaching mode,a lot of professional knowledge and professional skills are often imposed-based,but students’ comprehensive quality and ability can not be well improved.To solve the above problems,this study combines the OBE education concept with the project-based teaching model,and carries out the project-based teaching model under the OBE concept in the course of "Main Structure Engineering Construction" in secondary vocational schools,with the purpose of making the students in secondary vocational schools better develop in professional knowledge and skills,comprehensive quality and ability.This study defines the concept and status quo of OBE concept and project-based teaching by studying domestic and foreign literature on OBE concept and project-based teaching.Then,using the way of questionnaire survey,from the perspective of students to understand the current teaching status of "Main structure Engineering Construction" course in secondary vocational school,analyze the feasibility of OBE concept and projectbased teaching applied to the course teaching,and analyze the relevance of both.Supported by Piaget’s constructivism theory,Taylor’s educational objective theory,Bloom’s mastery learning theory and Dewey’s learning theory,and referring to the general implementation process of projectbased teaching and the OBE curriculum design model proposed by Richard,the project-based teaching model under the OBE concept is finally designed.This model mainly includes three aspects: anticipating learning outcomes,carrying out learning activities and evaluating learning outcomes.Finally,the comparative experiment method is used to select two parallel classes for different experimental treatment.The experimental class adopts the project-based teaching mode under the concept of OBE,while the control class adopts the conventional project-based teaching mode.The project teaching mode under the concept of OBE is implemented by taking the Installation,binding and quality acceptance of beams and bars of a frame structure as an example.After a semester of teaching experiment,the students’ knowledge and skills were tested based on the final test results and project performance results,and the ability of students to achieve the 5C ability questionnaire was tested.Finally,through the analysis of the experimental data,the experimental class has higher data in the final test score,project performance score and ability accomplishment than the control class.Moreover,through the comparative analysis of the pre and post test data of the experimental class in 5C ability,it can be found that the post test data of the experimental class is higher than the pre test data.The practice results show that the project-based teaching model under the OBE concept highlights the dominant position of students,which can not only promote the understanding and mastery of students’ professional knowledge and skills,but also help students to improve the comprehensive quality and ability needed to step into the society.This study constructs a project-based teaching model under the concept of OBE and carries out practice in specific courses.Although it has certain limitations in terms of teaching duration and application scope,this study can still provide certain references for secondary vocational schools to improve teaching methods and improve the quality of talent training.In the follow-up study,the sample size should be expanded,the practice time increased,and the action research method should be adopted to continue to verify the effectiveness of this model. |
