Analysis On The Design Of University Libraries Under Multi-functional Aggregatio

With the deepening of educational reform and the development of information technology,university libraries have become important places to carry various functions such as campus education,cultural inheritance,and academic exchange,showing a trend of multifunctional agglomeration.The new requirements for the architectural design of university libraries have become an important issue that urgently needs to be sorted out and clarified in contemporary architectural practice and theoretical research.Against such a background,the thesis conducts the research on the architectural design of university libraries under multi-functional agglomeration,aiming to summarize the design strategies and application practices of university libraries under multi-functional agglomeration.Firstly,the thesis introduces the research background,summarizes the research at home and abroad,familiarizes oneself with the current research status of university library buildings and functions in China,and clarifies the research positioning of the development and changes of university library functions.Secondly,focusing on the research related to the “multifunction” of university libraries,this thesis elaborates on the connotation of the concept of “multifunction” in university libraries,summarizes the development trend and features of university library functions by sorting out the development context of university libraries,and further proposes adaptive design considerations for university libraries under multi-functional agglomeration,which are the multi-adaptability function space design with collection-lending-reading ontology function,the creation of cultivated environment with education and cultural inheritance function,the academic space construction with academic research and exchange function,and the allocation of intensive service space with digital service functions.Furthermore,based on adaptive design considerations for university libraries under multifunctional agglomeration,this thesis summarizes and refines their specific design techniques and strategies from four aspects: the multi-adaptability design of the basic functional space,the specialized expansion of academic exchange space,the intensive allocation of service management space,and the local shaping of cultural education environments in university libraries under multi-functional agglomeration.It also conducts evidence analysis by combining selected relevant university library cases to provide practical basis for the practice of university library projects under the multi-functional agglomeration.Finally,based on the characteristics of “multi-functional agglomeration” in university libraries,taking the architectural design practice of Shandong Jianzhu University’s IndustryUniversity-Institute Base Library as an example,this thesis explores and improves the comprehensive expression of architectural design strategies for university libraries under multifunctional agglomeration.Based on “multi-functional agglomeration” characteristics and the actual situation of project function composition,its design techniques and strategies are further improved from five aspects: the extension of ontology function,the expansion of academic exchange function,the coordination of management digital operation function,the extension of cultural education function,and the shaping of image in the land and coastal areas,in order to better guide the architectural practice of relevant university libraries.
