The Study On The Design Of University Library Under The Background Of Informatization

The university library is an important place for academic development,During the process of its design,not only the history and idea of the university shall be shown,but also its background and regional features.As the “Double Top University”project is putting into formal practice,how to display the spiritual style of the world-top universities via their libraries has become a major problem in library designing for those universities which are marked by Chinese characteristic of “International Level,Chinese Manner”.Nowadays,informatization has roundly changed the way of producing and living in human society.At the same time,the university library designing also faces unprecedented challenges and changes.Under the “Internet Plus” background,the university libraries must make renewable considerations and orientation on their interplace structure,formation of practical functions which contain “reading,storing,checking,managing” and designing principles at each functional zones.Therefore,this essay affempts to do a field research on typical university libraries in our country on the basis of material-collection of traditional library designing.The data in the research are collected from readers' feelings and needs,and analyzed by using SPSS Statistics Software.Then,the essay summrizes and extracts the designing principles and menthods under the informatization trend,applying these theories to the library designing of Hebei University of Science and Technology.Besides,this essay examines the actual effects on university library designing based on the research verdicts,hoping to provide beneficial reference to the university library of our country.
