| In recent years,the number of automobiles in China has increased,it has brought enormous pressure to the safety of transportation.The number of traffic accidents caused by side impact continues to increase,which seriously affects citizen’s safety and economic development.Because of its large size and high chassis,Sport Utility Vehicle is more aggressive to other vehicle models in accidents.Therefore,it is particularly important to carry out research on SUV’s crash safety performance.However,in side impact tests,the cost is high and unrealistic if the actual SUV is used for each collision.Thus,the establishment of a mobile deformable barrier with the real structural characteristics of the SUV is very necessary.On the one hand,it can save a lot of costs,and on the other hand,it is able to meet the experimental requirements,as well.Nowadays,it has become a common technical solution for side impact research.The thesis analyzes the test methods of the Chinese and European side impact regulations,China-new car assessment program management regulation,and the thirdparty evaluation regulations of China and the American Insurance Association.,and compares them to each other.It can set up the theoretical foundation of the new moving deformable barrier.Through the statistical analysis of the front appearance parameters of the existing SUVs in China,the average structural parameters representing the characteristics of mainstream SUVs in China are summarized,and the average curb mass is determined to be 1600 kg.Through the frontal impact simulation of the SUV real vehicle,the front structural stiffness data of several typical SUV models in China’s automobile market are obtained,and analyze its stiffness characteristics.The honeycomb block of MDB is designed to consist of 4 blocks,and the stiffness characteristics of each block and the whole are determined.The size and stiffness design parameters of MDB that conform to the characteristics of Chinese SUVs can be determined.According to the frontal impact requirements of the load cell wall,the model of the side-impact moving deformable barrier is established.The moving deformable barrier model is pre-processed by Hyper Mesh software.The model is calculated by LSDYNA,and the simulation results,including deformation and force,are compared with the frontal-impact simulation results by load cell wall,as well as the material parameters of the model adjusted,which aims to make the stiffness characteristics of the MDB front block consistent with the simulation.With the help of a vehicle finite element model,the MDB-to-CAR and CAR-toCAR side impact finite element model are established.Computer simulation method is adopted to conduct comparative analysis on the intrusion,displacement and speed of B-pillar of the test vehicle to verify the effectiveness of established MDB.The research in this thesis can provide some reference and help for the research on the side impact moving deformable barrier and the structure safety protection for SUV side impact in China. |
