Research On The Evolution Of The Rural Fair Space In Zhuji Town,Nanxiong County

With the rapid advancement of rural township construction,the status of towns in the countryside has been further strengthened.In the process,the rural fair plays a key role in leading the development of township economy,which represents the highest level of development in a certain rural area,but in the process of modernization,it inevitably had an impact on the local culture and living environment.How does the rural fair space affect the development of township? With the advancement of new urbanization,how will it make adaptive changes? These questions have not been fully answered in academic research.Zhuji Town has a long history of more than 1000 years,and Zhuji Lane inside is the birthplace of Cantonese Culture.In 2018 and 2021,Zhuji Town became one of the first pilot towns of the “139” town and street promotion action in Shaoguan City and the first batch of national rural tourism key towns,which is representative in the construction of township fair in Northern Guangdong.The purpose of this study is : 1)Record and sort out the evolution process and development status of the rural fair space in Zhuji Town,and summarize the characteristics and laws of its spatial evolution;2)Based on the current situation of the rural fair space construction in Zhuji Town,this paper puts forward the design guidance and control suggestions.3)Based on the case study of the spatial evolution of the rural fair space in Zhuji Town and the study of the regional distribution law of rural township fair space in Northern Guangdong,this paper summarizes the design guidance and control points of the spatial elements of the rural township fair to adapt to the environment of the mountainous area of Northern Guangdong.This paper is divided into three main parts,and the main research contents of each part are as follows:1)Background and problem research.Firstly,this paper discusses the regional development background of the rural fair in Zhuji Town from the aspects of regional geographical environment,culture,policy and township positioning,and summarizes the regional spatial pattern characteristics of rural townships and fairs from different zoning levels;Secondly,it analyzes the rural fair in Zhuji Town from the spatial dimension,and determines its spatial composition system and research logic;Then,through investigation and analysis,this paper summarizes the main problems of the current situation of the rural fair space in Zhuji Town in terms of fair expansion,plane pattern,fair transformation,old and new buildings,social activities and public places.2)Research on the evolution process.The spatial evolution process of the rural fair space in Zhuji Town is divided into three historical periods: ancient lane,old fair and new fair.Summarizes the development characteristics of the rural fair in each period,and studies the main characteristics of the constituent elements of the rural fair space from the spatial aspects of fair trade,fair life,fair transportation and fair public,then analyzes and summarizes the overall spatial form,layout mode and development trend of the rural fair in different periods.3)Research on evolution law and design guidance control.Firstly,it summarizes the historical evolution law of the rural fair space in Zhuji Town from the aspects of spatial elements,overall form,spatial layout and driving mechanism;Secondly,according to the current situation of the development of the rural fair in Zhuji Town,this paper puts forward the design guidance and control suggestions on the overall style,architectural space,road traffic and public space of it;Finally,combined with the research on the regional layout law of the rural fair space,this paper puts forward the basic principles of the township fair in Northern Guangdong in terms of traditional culture,contemporary society,township positioning and human settlement needs,and summarizes the design guidance and control points of the spatial elements of the rural township fair that adapt to the mountainous area of Northern Guangdong from the aspects of the geographical environment,spatial layout,commercial format,architectural form and road traffic.This paper forms the research results on the evolution process and characteristics of the rural fair space in Zhuji Town,and puts forward the design guidance and control suggestions according to the main problems of the development status of it,and hope to scientifically guide the benign evolution of the rural fair space in Northern Guangdong with the help of the experience of the case study.
