Nowadays,The media of information dissemination are appearing in a wide variety of forms,constantly innovating and developing.From the obsolete way depending interpersonal oral communication to the current new media era depending high-speed internet technique.The forms of those communication media continually affect our daily life at different angles and sensory ranges and then influence the development of the whole society and civilization,So there is a new social relationship.Today,The prevalence of social media and self-media has changed the way that people receive and use information from multiple perspectives and aspects,and the situation from individual always receiving information at a kind of passive form to more and more person actively becoming the publisher of information.This communication method completely breaks the limitations of space and time.All field of social life have gained unprecedented social influence through those communication media.At the same time,those changes in media of information dissemination are also silently affecting the field of architectural design.The New Vernacular Architecture particularly needs the strong influence power created by the new media.In the era of image consumption,through the new media creating a good mimetic environment,and giving The New Vernacular Architecture wider social attention,we can make good use of the advantages of the media environment to empower the space of The New Vernacular Architecture,and to make positive responds to the revitalization strategy of our country’s construction of beautiful countryside.From the perspective of the combination of communication theory and architecture,This paper discusses the positive influence of media environment communication on the spread of The New Vernacular Architectural space,reflects on what way of thinking architects should have in order to become from passive to positive in this social background where media is more and more important,studies how to make good use of the characteristics of the media to magnify the communication influence power of the design itself,makes the architecture come down from the altar and enter the public’s field of vision,and finally makes The New Vernacular Architecture can obtain better social response and publicity effect.Six chapters are used in the article: In the first chapter,the background,purpose and significance of the research are clarified,the current domestic and foreign related academic research status is reviewed,the research framework used is constructed,and the research methods used are explained;the second chapter The relevant knowledge of The New Vernacular Architecture and communication is sorted out;the third chapter discusses the communication mode and communication elements in The New Vernacular Architecture;the fourth chapter discusses the influence of the mass media on The New Vernacular Architecture;the fifth chapter is based on The New Vernacular Architecture In the sixth chapter,the author took the team project that the author participated in during the postgraduate period — the architectural and environmental design of Baihuazhai tourist attraction,combining the theory discussed in this article with the actual projects he participated in,the theory is confirmed.
