Research On The Design Of Recreational Environment Of Waterfront Space In Cold-region Citie

With the continuous advancement of social processes,people enjoy the fruits of industrial civilization,but they also experience loneliness brought by the fast-paced life.People rushing in the hustle and bustle of the city yearn for peace of mind,hang out with friends or step into a park with their families.People expect to have a bit of fun,feel close to nature,and be a part of it,with the breeze blowing steadily over the feet and with insect and bird sounds meeting their ears.Compared with the southern crisscrossed water system,there is little rainfall and lakes in the north.The water supply and storage are constraining factors of the construction of the waterfront in northern urban parks.In fact,those parks copying the styles of other ones have gone against what these parks in cold regions is originally designed to do.In response to meet the demands of park-building,it matters to use water as a link to build distinctive parks in cold regions,with innovative design methods to outline the unique cultural significance of the parks.In view of the special geographical position and the unique climatic characteristics of the cold lands,combined with the regional culture and the customs of Changchun City,this paper designs and studies the waterfront chill-out space of Nan Hu Park in Changchun City.Firstly,the relevant theories of the waterfront space design of parks in the cold lands are expounded,and then the current situation of Nan Hu Park is further analyzed,with relevant data and information combed so that the characteristics of waterfront space parks in the cold lands are summarized.Detailed analysis is made from many aspects in the Nan Hu Park,including waterfront space,rest environment,ice and snow utilization,and the needs users.The design strategy of the waterfront area of Nan Hu Park was established,with special design carried out from immersive experience and green landscape.The water-enjoyable space and the space facing water is designed to create a mode of immersive experience,and the recreation and entertainment areas are designed according to the needs of different groups of people,fully reflecting universal human concern and compassion.By digging into the waterfront characteristics of cold land city parks,relying on ice and snow and paying attention to regional characteristics,waterfront places with a sense of belonging are designed to reasonably allocate local hardy plants.Thus,a unique waterfront landscape of cold land parks with local characteristics can be created,with the sensory experience of users greatly enhanced and the single characteristics and the lack of vitality in city parks improved.It gives some perspective on the construction of waterfront recreation space in the parks in the cold northern lands.
